Thanks for listing that! I was looking for that.

I don’t get the five folding wings line - what does that mean?

The twelve one is “Twelve new jobs for Hillary”

A horse is a horse of course of course
And no one can talk to a horse of course
That is of course unless the horse
Is the famous Mr. Ed
Go right to the source and ask the horse
He’ll give you the answer that you’ll endorse
He’s always on a steady course
Talk to Mr. Ed
People yakety-yak a streak
And waste your time of day
But Mr. Ed will never talk
Unless he has something to say
A horse is a horse of course of course
And no one can talk to a horse of course
That is of course unless the horse
Is the famous Mr. Ed

Wow, this thread is back from the dead. (For a good laugh, take a close look at the date of my original post again.)

“Folding wings” is a refernce to the military cuts/base closures that were going on early in the Clinton admin.

A wing is the main base-level unit in the AF (roughly equivalent to a brigade in the Army, I believe, although I don’t know the Army structure very well.) A wing is usually made up of 4 groups (Ops, Support, Med, and Maint.) The groups are made up of several squadrons each. Squadrons vary in size - normally 50-250 people.

So which one is roughly a couple thousand people? (Comparable to an AF wing?)

It varies on the type of unit. (Infantry will typically be more soldiers.) But approximately 500 - 1,000 = Batallion, and 2,500 - 5,000 = Brigade.
