Amazing this

IT SEEMS EVERY other morning since the September attacks this lawmaker or that is shooting his or her mouth off, ranting about the immediate need for another piece of privacy-stripping legislation in the name of protecting America and fighting an undeclared war on terrorism.

came from someone at MSNBC

"A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state,..."

Homeland Security.

It is clear from the EXACT WORDS chosen over long debate...REAL debate, that any security within the borders of our nation is to come from the people, en masse. That includes leaders in the National Guard, Law Enforcement, and retired military, and Joe Six-Pack...the militia consisting of all able-bodied males.

Any attempt to register or restrict American gun owners WEAKENS our national security. The reason America has never been attacked is its' militia. (Note how all attacks on Americans occur where Americans have been disarmed.)

If we truly wish to secure America, attacking American guns is EXACTLY the wrong direction to go.

I wish I still had the link. but it was about how whenever guns were taken away.....Crimes increased, people .GOOD people could not defend themselves and everytime it has proved that there should never be gun control.GOOD people do not need gun control.
In Switzerland where my family came from before I was born, everyone has a gun, children too and they all know how to use them and respect them. I know the libs hate this but it truly IS the person with the gun that makes the gun evil.NOT the gun !!!!!!
I grew up with guns in our home and it was no big deal. We were taught to respect their power and to know better and what yes and no meant. There was never a problem ever.

The National Instant Check System (NCIS) is used to check the background of persons wanting to purchase a firearm. The names and information input into NCIS are supposed to be temporary, the law creating the NCIS says to “destroy all records… relating to the person or the transfer” as it relates to the sale of a gun by a licensed dealer. But Schumer’s bill would mandate the permanent data warehousing of that information and make it available to every law enforcement official in the country, down to the local sheriff in some rural municipality.

Talk about a registration/confiscation program. I believe it is coming in 10 to 20 years. I will not give up my firearms either.
