I will assume that in the second half there is an apology from the press and certain congressmen regarding Bush's refusal to return to Washington DC due to threats to destroy Air Force One. [threats which at the time were doubted by the liberal elite but have now been proven true]

Bush was not missing. The right people knew where he was and for what reason.

It's the media elite who think they should be aware of everything he does and they have a snite about it if left out of the loop.

I'm reminded of Bill Slim (the British commander in Burma and the only Brit in WWII worth his salt.) On the retreat from Burma, after a terrible overnight disaster, he was greeted by his staff.

Mild Nitpick Alert: CBS News isn't in Black Rock. It's in "The Dairy," a building on 57th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues. It's about as close to the middle of nowhere as you can get in Manhattan. It's across the street from a car dealer.

My first e-mail to friends & family on 9-11 opened with "Some how, some way, somebody is gonna' pay".

But with the way things have gone sinde 9-11...I'm just one of millions who said
