As I stated earlier in the thread, I am not particularly familiar with the ins and outs of trade negotiations or treaty law.

I do think that the fast track passes Constitutional muster, though, because it does not prohibit Congress from rejecting any negotiated agreement.

Now, that said, whether it is desireable is an open question, and I can certainly see how patriots can disagree on that. I tend to support it because I'm more of a free-trader in theory. Even so, I wouldn't hold a candlelight vigil if it were ultimately rejected.

looks like we're thinking alike...however, depending on what Bush does next with this may depend on wheather or not we have to worry about the current presidency.
