He's NOT an Arab, he's an AMERICAN.

Which is another can of worms. An American can *say* he supports what he wants under the Constitution...but when he *acts*, that's a different story. I agree his actions overseas warrant punishment. His saying he did or didn't support 9/11 is irrelevant, although it is juicy material for raising people's ire, as we've seen on this board.

Does idleness and apathy count as one of these devils? Those seem worse devils to me, if so.

Apathy and idleness may resemble sloth -- one of the 7 deadly sins -- but I maintain that murder and treason are worse because they hurt and jeopardize others, whereas sloth damages only yourself -- unless you are supposed to be providing for a family.

I'm cutting you some slack since you've been a member only since November 10 of this year, but your argument is really foolish.

Thank you. Now if the plan only'll work, I'd willingly give up the cigar.

Bad morals are better than no morals!

They're certainly more rewarding. Ask Bill Clinton.

I'm just a bit more sophisticated in analyzing certain dynamics in my generation.

Sophisticated is hardly the word I'd use for your reasoning ability. Demented is more like it.

"Honorable causes are in the eye of the beholder. He may not be a conventional hero, or noble person (and as I repeatedly said he's misguided and should be punished), but his actions make him an exceptional individual. He's done something most wouldn't, or couldn't."

LMAO... I won't jump you too badly since everyone else is doing a fine job. I will say however if you really believe he is "an exceptional individual" then the hijackers of the 9/11 planes must be "gods" tou you. Hysterical philosophy you've cultivated for yourself partner.

His saying he did or didn't support 9/11 is irrelevant

Because it's too close to the liberals' "hate crime" argument. He's committed treason. Take it at face value. His opinions on events like 9/11 don't change his crime. What he thinks is irrelevant, thoughts and words are not illegal--what he *did* is what matters.
