I thought about NOT posting this...it's an obvious waste of bandwidth, but, then again, the author's bias and outright falsifying the facts is humorous.....read on....

This article is so pathetic and full of flaws. It's no suprise it came out of some university news rag. A few protests means we are not united? Wrong. It's impossible to get 100% of americans to agree on anything. 80%+ americans are for this war on terrorism. That's extremely united by anyone's standards. Except ignorant liberals I guess. And he claims the media and everyone else "silently condoned" the attacks against muslims in this country. More BS. Bush has, on many occasions, has told america to respect other faiths etc. we've all seen it. It's been shown in the media. The problem is, the liberals apparently see even 1 act of violence or intolerance against someone else in this country as morally equivalent to the evil of sept 11. And somehow that 1 act somehow equates to all america being bigoted and intolerant. What a joke. Thank god for home schooling. Our public education system is obviously a fraud if idiots like this are the deep thinkers on college campuses.

Why has the Republican party used Sept. 11 as a way to introduce a supposed "new" tax cutting budget, in hopes to stimulate the economy, when all their package does is cater to major corporations and wealthy Americans, a classic Republican political move that was employed during the Reagan years? A move that led to twenty years of unprecedented prosperity. It took X42i eight years to derail it.

Sept. 11 was a day that the media turned its back on ethics. This guy must have been smoking crack from Dan Rather for the last 8 years to forget the most corrupt ethical administration in the history of the republic!

"...all I ask is that you, the reader, please bear with this viewpoint and the structure of this op-ed piece. "
"...people became very vocal very fast."
"It is easily seen that there are opposing sides to each thing being said..."
"I feel that that overriding feeling of disillusionment..."
This person writes like a precocious 7 year old.
Or a very stupid college student.
And when did they ban teaching logic in the New England states?
Can you, the reader, answer that question?

where's the "explosive diahrrea" alert? I think you are required to be a rocket scientist to put out the "explosive diarrhea" alert. And you have to count down first.

I always wondered why young men today wore their caps with the brim in back. Now I understand.
In the early stages of delight with drinking, moderation is a concept that can't get much traction. Judging from "Andrew Johnson" (the author of this thread's pitiful whine), undergraduate alcohol consumption levels continue to impair reasoning.

"It is easily seen that there are opposing sides to each thing being said and what seems to be evident is that the view or message with the most air-time becomes the "right one" to many people and more dangerously becomes a legitimate fact."
Funny, but on this point and this point alone I can agree with the author. This is the notorious "SHEEPLE PRINCIPLE" used exclusively by the DNC, JJ, and Al (fatboy) Sharpton - repeat a lie over and over again in ad nauseum . . . and the sheeple will eventually believe it to be true.
The rest of this article proves that "a mind is a terrible thing to waste."

but if Sept. 11 united all Americans then what caused students from Wesleyan University to take to the streets of Hartford in protest Stupidity comes to mind......
To: follow your bliss
ROFL! Man, what a great post. The guy is even wearing a Hartford Whalers shirt.
To: Texican72
Stupidity is the guiding light for good Democrats. The universities are doing an excellent job of turning them out in great numbers.

Since when, pray tell, did the media ever have ethics????

How true. I don't know which is most appalling, the lame reasoning or the illiterate style. His parents are sure getting good return on their tuition dollar.

I wanted to ask this bunch what they had been smoking to some up with such ideas, but there is no apparent way to contact them. They are chicken, no doubt.
