The Title should have been EUROPE OUTLAWS ITSELF AS IT IS INHERENTLY RACIST IN ITS POLICIES!!!
To: stands2reason
Don't they realise that if they pass this, the French can't make fun of or insult foreign tourists, even Americans? This will not be used against Muslims/Islamists, or basically any non-christian groups, or blacks (we ALL know they don't commit hate crimes). It will target Christian whites and protect homosexuals. The whole idea is slanted from the start. To pass a law against another "classified" group automatically perpetuates racial and social tensions.

I think the EU should be considering outlawing the frogs.

Well, this anti-tribunal person has yelled for years about "hate speech", etc. This is another continent, but is coming to a theater near you. It's, of course, horrible. What else do you want us to do?

Gosh, if they outlawed racism and xenophobia in the states, that would be bad news for many Republicans.

Perhaps it's time to break out the Reynold's Wrap -- to protect you from the GUMMINT!

There is surely no nation in the world that holds "racism" in greater horror than does the United States! (Except maybe Canada.) Compared to other kinds of offenses, it is thought to be somehow more reprehensible. The press and public have become so used to tales of murder, rape, robbery, and arson, that any but the most spectacular crimes are shrugged off as part of the inevitable texture of American life.
"Racism" is never shrugged off. For example, when a White Georgetown Law School student reported earlier this year that black students are not as qualified as White students, it set off a booming, national controversy about "racism." If the student had merely murdered someone he would have attracted far less attention and criticism.

With only 9.5% of the world population being white in the first place, what are our 'leaders' trying to do to the few of us left? We are forced to accept diversity and multiculturalism, and mass immigration from everywhere. Our kids are getting it shoved down their throats in school. (Which is why some younger people actually agree with this and go on to marry and have kids with non-whites.) We aren't allowed to say anything against it.....soon we won't be able to even think anything against it.
In the end, when the white race has become a victim of genocide, no one will care to think anything about it any way. :(

Sorry, can't use that either. It is harmful to the environment both in its production and disposal. ;-)

The plans, drafted by the European Commission, define racism and xenophobia as aversion to individuals based on "race, colour, descent, religion or belief, national or ethnic origin".
Europeans suck!
Ooops, I think that was a crime according to the EU.

Translation: You don't believe in the First Amendment. I, for one, hate racism and crap like that, but if they can shut them up, then what's to stop people from going after other groups that are not "politically correct?" Will opposing the Brady Bunch be illegal? Or will it be supporting tax cuts?
If, so, then you make Joe McCarthy look like a card-carrying member of the ACLU.

False. I was merely using my First Amendment rights to make a joke -- one that is accurate regarding SOME Republicans.

Forgive me if I am not laughing. I, for one, know of instances where the slightest disagreement with what was "politically correct" caused people a lot of trouble.
For people who denounce Joe McCarthy, they sure have made use of his tactics.

Europeans To Outlaw Racism Oh, goodie! Enlightened progress at last. Once they get around to outlawing all the rest of the bad things in the world we all ought to move there. Why, doncha see it'll be regular Utopia, folks!

What's next? Outlawing paranoia, self loathing, depression, sexual fanasizing...? The list is endless. But then, so is the number of people who'd love to be issued a badge on the Thought Police Force.

Yeah right. I really want to see this work. They are going to need a lot of new prisons. Because in 5 yrs they will have arrested at least 70 o/o of Europe`s pop. for the crime of racism.
