I remember that well. In the manner of crap through a goose, that loser was off the government gravy train in search of gainful employment within a few days. He/she/it just FReepmailed me to tell me he/she/it is now on the *federal* teat.

Try "maladroit."

If you originate and run a successful website that people enjoy visiting repeatedly and they enjoy it so much that they give you money to keep it going and then if that eventually results in you making tons of money - more power to you!
That's the American Dream!
To: Ratatoskr
I like cheese. I really, REALLY like cheese!

I don't hink I have to tell you how I feel about this!
Hang in there Jim and I promise to continue doing EVERYTHING I can to help!
"A people may want a free government, but if, from insolence, or carelessness, or cowardice, or want of public spirit, they are unequal to the exertions necessary for preserving it; if they will not fight for it when it is directly attacked; if they can be deluded by the artifices used to cheat them out of it; if by monetary discouragement or temporary panic, or a fit of enthusiasm for an individual they can be be induced to lay their liberties at the feet of even a great man, or trust him with powers which enable him to subvert their institutions; in all of these cases they are more or less unfit for liberty; and though it may be for their good to have had it even for a short time, they are unlikely to long enjoy it."

Several problems:
1. Earnings of 501(c) organizations can't inure to the benefit of individual shareholders.
2. 501(c) organizations can't actively engage in politics and influencing legislation.
3. Public disclosure requirements and accountability.
Just to name a few of the more obvious problems. Of course, some of these problems might exist as a matter of law, regardless of 501(c) status, by accepting donations and holding one's self out as a non-profit or charity.

Just my opinion: I've donated, and I did so as a consumer of what I consider to be a fantastic entertainment site.
I gave you the money to do with what you want. You could spend it on a wild, raunchy weekend in Vegas, if you wish. That's up to you.
I give what I feel I am willing to pay for this 'service'. I don't consider this a 'charity', in any way.
Thank you for your time and energy. I like what another person said before -- you're the 'Rush Limbaugh' of the internet. You've truly taken the message board to a new level.

I don't take kindly to bullying, abusive cult-like intimidation tactics, and just plain tyranny from any quarter.afSS Translation:
If I can't run the show, I'm gonna blow
Yep, you blow. Now, you lying little twerp. You had your own site. It is still a home for bigots and has spawned alternate sites in favor or opposed to your peculiar bigotry. You lied on your own site and now you think you have the right to call everyone else a liar? You're useless...but irrelevant, so no harm no foul. I say keep you around with Hairy and the TauKappaEpsilon freak and I'll be able to go easy on Kevin.
To: fallclassicus
Ahh,yes. I vaguely remember you. Aren't you the weasel who posted either his e-mail address or a link to his e-mail address, and then whined when he got fired for conducting political activites on a gooberment system during work hours when he was SUPPOSED to be actually working? Didn't you allegedly work for the Georgia highway dept? Or at least draw a check from them? Your mom must be very proud, and I'm sure she brags to all her tricks about you.

Thank You All for the ping! If it wasn't for Free Republic, I would never have had the opportunity to attend an Inaugural Ball--that was great! Protesting and attending rally's was something I never did... until Free Republic, went out there with the best of folks and spoke my voice for what is right. I have been politically enlightened, thanks to Free Republic. Will be sending in a donation. My heartfelt thanks Jim for this wonderful site.
FREE REPUBLIC ROCKS!!!
To: Hugh Akston
Spoken like a true liberal. He's not a "liberal",and there is nothing the slightest bit liberal about him. He is a whiney leftist.
To: Cyber Liberty
Try "maladroit."Doesn't seem to fit. Maladroit would mean clumsy or inelegant.
Malsentient would mean able to think and reason, but unable to do so correctly.
To: sneakypete
I stand corrected. Good point.
To: Cyber Liberty
remember that well. In the manner of crap through a goose, that loser was off the government gravy train in search of gainful employment within a few days. He/she/it just FReepmailed me to tell me he/she/it is now on the *federal* teat.I would hope he (it is a he) would be so kind as to EMAIL you instead of FREEPMAIL you, so that the person in question might be coaxed to avoid the use of federal equipment and time.
Unless, of course, this is merely Eschoir violating an injunction......
