Well, we knew it was coming... Here is the first salvo. I guess pro-lifers will be the first victims under the new anti-terrorism bill signed 10/26--PATRIOTUSA, is it? Please bump up the pro-life list (I don't know the listees) and e-mail above. Thanks.

The ad blames pro-life advocates for letters containing anthrax threats sent to hundreds of abortion facilities over the last several weeks -- despite any clear evidence pointing to any credible pro-life groups or people. Since the pro-abortion groups first announced these hoax letters as an organization, it seemed a bit suspicious. Now with these ads, its quite clear the pro-abortionists are using anything they can to advance their cause. Disgusting. The FBI should look at left wing fruitcakes involved in "pro-choice" activism as the likely source of the recent anthrax hoax letters.

I remember a post where someone was suing Planned Parenthood to disclose the risk to breast cancer, instead of hiding it. They decided not to sue for money (presumably to take the 'high road') only to force them to inform patients of the risk.
How foolish!! Now we're in a situation where anyone even speaking of pro-life will probably be branded a terrorist and subject to harrasement under the Patriot Act. We could have used that money to finance a counterattack on what's sure to be coming up.

The abortionists are the real terrorists here. What a sick, twisted way of thinking. Oh, I forgot. That's spin.

But this is a very old game -- pick someone (or as here, some tiny minority) from among your adversaries who exemplifies some deplorable traits, even if it's only bad judgment, and then speak as if everyone who agrees with his position on your hot-button issue is his moral or mannerly twin.
Hitler loved animals and was a dedicated vegetarian. How do you think the animal-rights crowd would like to be identified with him?

Well, of course stuff like this is going to come from those folks - after all, the pro-abortion crowd in this country are professional terrorists who like to kill babies, and they are just chok full of their own narrow minded mullahs and ayatollahs.
It is time for a million letters to the publishers who took those advertisements. Now if I were an extreme leftwinger, or just a Democrat, I'd say it's time to burn newstands - instead I'll just say that for the WarshPost I'll meet them at the next zoning hearing where they have an issue. That's the kind of loss not covered by other people's money through the mechanism of an insurance company.

Here it comes... those of you who supported the Patriot Act because it was going to be used against foreign terrorists better think again.
This law is going to be used as a weapon against anyone whom the govt chooses to label as terrorists. Such people might include those that actively oppose abortion, those that own "too many" firearms, those that advocate for the upholding of the Constitution.
What really amazes me in the wake of Sept 11 is that there are so many FReepers that just decided that allowing govt to do whatever it claimed it needed to do in the name of "safety" or "national security" was a good idea. Now perhaps these people realize that this legislation could be used against them, and maybe it isn't such a good idea to give our incompetent govt officials, whose policies were the direct cause of Sept 11, too much power.

Actually, I'd call the murder of over a million babies a year to be an act of terrorism.

Get real. What other group of people other than the Pro-lifers that has been harassing abortion clincs.

antiabortion zealots are certain God wants them to terrorize and even kill for their beliefs. One look at the Baby Butchers on Trail is enough to tell you with absolute certainty that the statement is frighteningly true.
You will find that web site that claims to represent all christians. It has an assination list of "baby killers" with the completed assinations clearly denoted with glee.
And they call themselves "Pro-Life." What a joke!

45,000,000 people since R/W Wow! 45 million abortions.
Now lets see...
The population of the USA is 250 million. Half, 125 million, of that population are women. Two thirds, 83 Million, of those women are of child bearing age.
That means that 1 in every 1.88 women have had abortions.
Yikes!
Think of all the implications of the ratio. Think of what it means in the voting booths of America. Think of what that means in terms of the probablity of pro-life women having snuck off to an abortion clinic.

Get real yourself! Anyone could be sending these anthrax letters! Aside from circumstantial evidence, where's the proof they're coming from pro-lifers? Remember the Reichstag fire?
