Maybe he'll defend Bin Later, if he he survives...

Slobodan Milosevic just lost any hope of respect.
Associating with Ramsey Clark is enough to defame even so tarnished a bird as Slobo.

OK...let's try and figure THIS one out. I am sure Clark is up to no good. Your opinions on motive, if you please!
To: Miss Marple
Clark is anti-American. Slobodan was both a communist and a crook who was opposed by the US. Therefore, he is a hero to Clark.

Um, money?
To: LenS
Milosevic and Clark are ideologically compatible - both longing for the good old days of Stalin.

I don't think Slobo is a very nice person, but even he doesn't deserve the railroading he's getting by the NWO kangaroo court. If he is to be held accountable, it should be in his own country.
To: Sub-Driver
ramsey, who was named when he appeared due to tom clark's ramses having failed, it probably the most reprehensible human being on the planet today. yes, he has lots of competition both foreign and domestic, but for sheer anti-american hatred and having used that hatred to shape policy over a period of more than four decades, no one tops him. it will he a happy day when he takes up residence in hell, and we can only hope that it is preceded by a lengthy period of agonizing pain.
other than that, he's okay.

You got it wrong. Milosevic is a crook that opposed the arab mujihadeen proxies of x42.
To: Sub-Driver; Miss Marple
No SD..money has NOTHING to do with this..and everything that Milosevic stands for has EVERYTHING to do with it...most especially his Anti-American stance which Ramsey Clark makes his living off of....

Clark's motives are simple. He believes the United States committed war crimes in Kuwait when we bombed the fire out of the Iraqis. He probably believes we committed war crimes in Kosovo. It's not so much that he wants to defend this guy as he wants an opportunity to claim we are the true villians.
To: Sub-Driver
Nobody would want his name linked with that lowlife. Bin Laden's got more morals than to associate with Ramsey Clark.

I am thinking that Clark wants to get info from Milosevic. I note that Milosevic aparently was saying he didn't want UN-appointed legal people.
Then I see that the UN approves this guy, Ramsey Clark. Now I think to myself, why would they do that? They have no love for Milosevic. They want to make him an example.
Clark has thrown his lot in with the terrorists here in the states. Milosevic is anti-Moslem. What other motivation for taking this position would Clark have, other than to find out what Milosevic knows (about general security and intelligence, about Clinton's culpibility, and about connections to al Quaeda) AND to threaten Milosevic? (Remember, Slobo was ranting about how he had proof that the US had double-crossed him.)
I don't think Slobo is a very nice guy, but I think there are deepeer motives, especially when I saw that Slobo didn't want Ramsey!!

Oh yeah, those Croatians and Slovenians are notorious for their Islamic ways. Nice try.

Wierd!
What happened to that Canadian lawyer that was defending Milosevic? Whatever Slobo did (like defend Yugo from Bin Laden henchmen) he certainly deserves better than Ramsey Clark.
To my fellow Balkans Front thread participants, sorry, I've been preoccupied with the Microsoft and American 587 threads. I'll try to get to the Balkans stuff more often.
I still owe you some commentary Fusion.

Oh yeah, those Croatians and Slovenians are notorious for their Islamic ways. You imply that Milosevic is guilty of attacks on Slovenia. I suggest you are just spewing anti-Serb crap and have nothing to back up your insinuation?
The Yugoslav Peoples Army moved to retake the border posts in Slovenia based on a court decision that the Slovene actions were unconstitutional and because the Presidency declared a state of emergency. General Kadijevic argued that had no choice but to act, that they could not ignore the political decisions of the Parliment of the SFRY.
Moeover, there are those that agrue that Milosevic (far from attacking Slovenia) had no objection to Slovenia leaving Yugoslavia.
The above arguments are from Balkan Tragedy, p.167 -- Susan Woodward
Perhaps you can enlighten us with the source of your wisdom or is it just hatred?
