THANKS WOULD BE GREAT AND FITTING. . . But it seems to me that publishing it in a full page add would be enough to dump Shrillery. Too many more would be too ashamed to vote for her after such an add. I think whatever corner of whatever rug she's still standing on would be thereby jerked out from under her. Maybe I'm dreaming but if I read the trend of feelings in NYC at all right from a hemisphere away--then I think that's the case. And I'd rob my piggy bank to help get that traitorous gritch out of congress.

Good idea:

PERHAPS donations could be taken to publish this letter in a prominent Sunday NY TIMES full page add?

I sure can't make it happen from Taipei but I'd sure figure out a way to contribute.

Perhaps it would be more impactful if FR helped the troops--the peers of the author take up a collection to publish a full page ad???

Harder for Shriller to live down if the troops took the collection up. But FREEPERS could sure make sure it happened donation wise.

Not only are the firemen like FDNY. Lt. McCaffrey heroes, who displayed bravery in the face of the WTC disaster, but they also display courage by not being afraid to say what they truly feel.

What will it take for the Clintons to crawl away into oblivion? How "stained" can you get before the stench is so putridly bad you can't bear smelling it yourself (after having everyone else have to smell it)? This is the Clinton legacy.

But I think there's been enough stink now, that mindless wannabes and socialite airheads are starting to get the drift that it's shameful, dumb to support Shrillery. A full page add of the Fireman's letter would sure push a lot of people over the edge against her.

If it only ran in the on-line version, it is next to worthless, because very few sheeple surf the net or even read for that matter.

I can't answer your question, but I copied it and sent it via email to all my friends. I also sent it to Neal Bortz. I tried to send it to O'Reilly, but it got returned (I don't know if there was a problem with his email address last night). If we all send it around, perhaps it will get into the "right hands" and it will be published on print media. That would be great. The Lt. speaks from all our hearts. What a great man. His words ring loud and clear.

How can anyone who has seen what our military has done to the Taliban think that our military became "emasculated" under Clinton? After all, that's Clinton's military he's talking about. Bush hasn't done one thing to change it in any way from the way it was on January 21.

You’ve got to be kidding! The military is an organization that follows orders from above. It’s called the chain of command. Privates follow orders from corporals, corporals from sergeants, sergeants from lieutenants, lieutenants from captains, captains from majors, majors from colonels, colonels from generals and generals from the Commander and Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States of America.

It ceased to be Klynton’s military the moment Bush took the oath of office!

That on top of Dominick Dunne's turning on Hillary, which I think has to reflect the thinking of the NY publishing glitterati.

What? When? do you have a link or further details?

This warmed my heart. In fact, anytime I see a man stand up for his convictions these days, it is a cause for celebration.
