Obviously, Mr. Graham is tone deaf in this respect, says Newsweek religion editor Ken Woodward. Hes certainly not his fathers son in terms of discretion. He may not be hitting the right notes but he's got the right lyrics.

It's about time a Christian preacher had the backbone to tell the truth about Islam. Franklin Graham is right. The Islamic terrorists are following Muhammand and the Qu'ran. Falwell and Robertson's comments were ignorant. Graham's are on target.
I dont believe this is a wonderful, peaceful religion, said Graham. When you read the Koran and you read the verses from the Koran, it instructs the killing of the infidel, for those that are non-Muslim. Finally someone who has guts
The White House also distanced itself from Grahams remarks Friday, saying the president views Islam as a religion that preaches peace, and that the terrorists do not represent what Islam teaches.

Anyone can pick up a copy of the Koran and see that Franklin Graham is correct about Islam. Its great to see a preacher have the guts to stand up against the whole world and proclaim the truth about Islam.

The big question is will Bush ban Franklin Graham from his events?

Islam never teaches hatred, Islam never teaches terrorism, says Imam Hassan Al-Qazwini of the Islamic Center of America.Come again?

I dont believe this is a wonderful, peaceful religion, said Graham. When you read the Koran and you read the verses from the Koran, it instructs the killing of the infidel, for those that are non-Muslim.Finally, a Christian with news-status tells the truth about the Qur'an. Verse 9.5. Graham hits the nail on the head, and this is specifically the directions being followed, by Al-Qaeda, Taliban, PLO, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, et al.
When you FIND the truth, pass it on. Thank you Rev. Graham.

I say the Reverend Graham has the right to his views on this, and that he's a very courageous man for voicing them. We need more like him, willing to stand up for their convictions. (Betcha Falwell and Robertson secretly agree with him.) I agree with him too. It's high time someone said it.
