MECCA DOLL From
Michael Cosgrove's International Doll Collection: This doll is a holy man from Jordan. He is made of cloth with wire armature. He wears a simple black cotton "aba", which is an open robe and under that is a white linen tunic. His head is made of plaster and it is covered with stockinet and painted. He wears eyeglasses made of clear yellow plastic and copper wire. On his head he has a white gauze turban. In his left hand is a string of light green prayer beads. On his feet he wears a pair of black fuzzy slippers made of a synthetic material. He stands nine and a half inches tall and was made in the 1970's.

My 6-year-old received Dancing Fire Barbie for her 6th birthday. Of course, we had no idea what was in the box from Amazon, purchased by her aunt, uncle, and cousins. My daughter was scared of the doll, plain and simple. They should keep the doll and unload the relatives!

(Sigh) I wish I'd saved my Burn Baby Burn Barbie from the sixties. She's worth a lot of money. :-)

Imagine what he would say if he could talk!!!

I think I would rename him; Mod-glasses mecca doll is more descriptive.

And now the latest change: Barbie will get a more realistic figure which includes a larger stomach and a reduced bust size after harsh criticisms from feminist organizations and others who object to the traditional Barbie's exaggerated curves.
Are women really this pathetic? ~"Sorry, I don't want you selling a DOLL because it makes me feel inadequate." How weak minded do feminists believe women are? Nobody can be smart, or pretty, or or have big tits (even a doll) because it makes women feel inadequate. Should I, as a man, feel justified to call for the abolishment of Monday Night Football because I have a poor body image?
P.S. I don't care what religion they make the various Barbie interations.

This idiot Mother is concerned about what her daughter's Barbie Doll is wearing? Yet, she doesn't care enough about her daughter's eternal soul? And is teaching her to be a hellbound Moslem?
What a sick Mother.

And in (actual) Barbie related news (looks like Japan's "Barbie" has been a little "busier" than the rest of the world's Barbies) :
Japanese Get Two for One with Pregnant 'Barbie'
TOKYO (Reuters) - It's official -- Japan's ``Barbie'' is pregnant.
Japanese toymaker Takara Co launched on Friday a pregnant edition of its wildly popular ``Rika-chan'' doll, Japan's version of Barbie. When purchased, the long-haired, wide-eyed doll is clearly an expectant mother, complete with maternity dress and rounded belly.
Delivery of the baby -- literally -- comes some two weeks later, after the buyer mails a postcard to the toymaker and receives the baby in reply, along with a special key that deflates the doll's belly to pre-pregnancy proportions.
A Takara spokeswoman said the new doll, which is being launched to commemorate the 35th anniversary next year of the Rika-chan doll, will be priced at $28.60.
``We hope it will help show children the importance of ties between parent and child,'' she said.
But she added that there was no connection between the timing of the doll's launch and the fact that Japan's Crown Princess Masako is expected to give birth to her first child as early as the end of this month.
If Masako's baby is a boy, he will be second in line to the Chrysanthemum Throne.

GI Joe is going to kick Kens ass!
To: Thinkin' Gal
Instead of Ken, is there an Bin Laden fellow beating her up, er accompanying her shopping etc.? How about some black and blue make-up for bad days with the hubby? Or how is the female genital multilation allowed for in the doll? Oops, guess we should acknowledge that. It isn't politically correct. After all, aren't all opposing doctrines equal? (LOL!) Only idiots believe that.

#74, I know I shouldn't ... but what if the baby isn't wanted? Any allowances for this?
I'm against abortion but couldn't resist. I'm just playing devils advocate.

No, T.G., they have it all
wrong.
Based upon what we've heard, all of these young, extremist Muslim murderers / jihadists are hell-bent (gee........pardon the expression) to be martyred for Islam so that they can spend eternity with 70+ doe-eyed virgins who have somehow been doomed to an after-life of servicing some drooling, weak-minded twit.
Therefore, the Islamic equivalent of "Barbie" should be, beneath that burqa, a real pig. I mean, absolutely plug-ugly; the type of girl who, when young, you'd tie a pork chop around her neck just to get the dogs to play with her.
What better motivator can a young, horny Muslim male have for seeking that all-too-attractive, promised after-life given his earthly choices for female companionship??
