There isn't one person here on FR who's an aeronautic crash expert that has the inside scoop on a 'cover-up' of any kind with this particular flight.

There have been a load of newbies joining fr on and after 9/11 that are disruptors. It is very like during the Presidential election where many joined to sow confusion. Normally we have the usual conspiracy under every rock crowd and you can have uncivil discussions with them, but now they have been augmented and it can get dangerous. I now check each articles poster for "member since" when the title or article is provocative, and am amazed by how many are after 9/11. For those I also check the source and some turn out to be dead ends and others are vanity websites with official sounding names. It is easy to troll on fr. But it is also easy to check and fairly quickly see if it is a troll.

I would like to see a one or two month waiting period after joining before you can post articles. You can post replies, so it would not stop trolls but would frustrate them since they would not have the spotlight and could be easily ignored.

Seriously, it's the surprising variety of ideas - including the very zaniest ideas - that make this place a fun read. There is no "us" for DU freaks to laugh at. I'm happy to say.
