How can a war be truly just when it involves the daily killing of civilians, when it causes hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children to leave their homes to escape the bombs, when it may not find those who planned the September 11 attacks, and when it will multiply the ranks of people who are angry enough at this country to become terrorists themselves?

I'd say that since Howard Zinn and his ilk wanted the NVA to run over South Vietnam and turn it into a brutal hellhole, his opinion is less than whale spit. Besides, if we kill enough insane Taliban-types, we will not have this domino effect of "ceating" more terroists...Howie, people have free will, remember?

"Barf Alerts" are stupid and insulting to the members of the forum. Are we children or sheeple unable to form independent thoughts and judgments without being spoon-fed? I think the readers of FR should be able to determine on their own what does or doesn't make them "barf".

This forum is about debate, is it not? If one has a problem with an article they can state their objections in a cogent sentence or paragraph in the comments section. Putting the two word exclamation "Barf Alert" in the title degrades the debate before it even starts. Debates on FR degrade into childish blather quickly enough. No help is needed.
