In my opinion, such things are the same, and a criminal violation of the trust the American public puts in our businessmen, especially those whose businesses hold our lives in their hands. Should we ask for more government regulation and oversight in these realms? Perhaps. We now know, graphically and in living (dying) blood, that they may not be placing our dollars in the right places...like hiring security screeners with drug problems, criminal/unemployability records...
What to do? I think the first step is what we are doing...speaking of these things among ourselves in public forums like Free Republic...then DOING something about it!!!
Since it is against our law and moral code to take matters into our own hands and find and execute the responsible parties directly, and individually...we must USE our system to fine tune such business practice, and thereby discourage such criminal acts of moral negligence or bad judgement from easily happening again.
