Muslim scholars are looking for way for Islam to be compatible with American freedoms and the Constitution, they can't find any common ground, what does that tell you? 99 posted on 12/27/01 3:04 PM Pacific by MissAmericanPie [ Post Reply
Islams/muslims are arrogant. The ones I worked with throughout the decades I thought were just aloof, but now I think they were just arrogant people, envious of Americas wealth, and hateful towards us because of our religions, because they are so INTOLLERANT of toher religions!

Saadeddin, the fellow who says he loves the constitution, when asked to comment on the Palestinian who straps a bomb to his body and blows up a pizzeria full of women and children, views that as justified. "If someone fights to gain his freedom, that's not terrorism," he said. "I don't even call them suicide attacks there. I call them martyrs."
Another example of a Muslim spokesman from Phoenix who is in denial that suicide attacks killing innocent people is terrorism. So much for their peaceful views.

As a resident of Brooklyn, I have seen many things over the years. In 1993 when the WTC was first bombed, those of Middle Eastern pedigree seemed to be indifferent about it. When the bomb went off at the Atlanta Olympics, these PEOPLE were in their corner stores laughing about it. When flight 800 went down, these same stores all seemed to open LATE in the morning. For the first 24 hours following the bombing at the Fed. Building in Oklahoma City, there was quiet fear show by these people until the first report that Tim McVeigh was being charged with that hennas crime. After that it was All Smiles. Finally, lets look at 9/11. I and others saw what appeared to be celebrating by these people. The eight block stretch of Atlantic Ave. in Brooklyn that is predominately Middle Eastern looked like Afghanistan only without the shooting of guns in the air. All over Brooklyn, stores that only had two workers at any given time, we saw as many as 20 natives of that part of the world having what seemed to be a Grand Ol Time. The press could ignore the festive activities of the individuals that were seen that day, but not the U.S. citizens that witnessed it. During WWII we as a nation interned Japanese citizens, but we were at war with Japan due to the cowardly attack on Pearl Harbor. Over the years many have said that this was wrong. Yet the Japanese were fanatics, not to be trusted. Many innocent people MAY have been wronged by these actions, but if only one life was spared as a result of these actions I say BRAVO! The time has come for the U.S. as a whole to look at these people, if only for our own protection. We need to look at these people with a magnifying glass. If this means to open Internment Centers as was establish during WWII, I say So be it. Call me whatever ist you like, but before you start labeling me remember that I have walked through the bowels of hell. I was only one block from the WTC as the second plane hit, I saw the first tower collapse from the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge and I saw the utter contempt that these people showed as we tried to make our way back home on that horrific day.

Thanks for the bump - I had not seen this and must send it on to many of my liberal "friends" who still believe that Islam is a peaceful religion.

You are absolutely right...I am a Northern Neighbour from Calgary..Work and interact with many Muslims... Have yet to meet one who did not loose it when the string is pulled . Blame and mocking of everyone but their own... most especially the U.S....None were dancing after Sept 11th ..but most carried a cereen grin..like they just had sex. A Lebanese barber giving me a Crew top cut after he saw me take off my navy cap..went on and on about America this and America that..next I hear about 3 of His brothers who rushed Israeli boarder positions in Lebanon...that their all dead.. but he is still proud of them. I put my SSBN 732 Hat back on when finished..made eye contact after paying...said Shalom. Smiling..I thought to myself...If you were in Lebanon still, my Jewish family would have made it 4. If you meet a Muslim under 40 years in Canada...strike up a conversation about anything...it won't be long before the poison starts to leak out. Canadian Cobras and Asps.. are just as poisonous as anywhere else!.

The fact is anyone who murders innocent and unsuspecting women and children is morally depraved and has lost the right to speak for any cause.
These people are warped and don't belong in a civilized society.

Not all Germans were NAZIs. However, All Moslems are Moslems.
To: weikel
Thanks Weikel. You unraveled GOPJ's difficult parallel between Nazi Germans and Islamic Arabs (or whatever) and you did it in one sentence. I was thinking of trying it in twenty or thirty.
The basic problem here is very much like that of WWII. We have had Germans in this country for so many generations, that any attempt to draw parallels between them, either culturally or religiously, and the Muslims is doomed to failure. Germans are one reason why we won the War of 1812. They were technocrats then as now, and brought rifled musketry to the backwoodsmen of the frontier. They are culturally and religiously completely homogeneous with the Founders. And nobody talks about "German Americans."
By contrast, the immigration and appearance of Muslims in this country happened so fast that it took most of us by complete surprise. The problem is that they are 1)Outside the "Judeo-Christian tradition" -- WAY outside. 2)They do not in general identify with our culture and are seldom at pains to deny the fact, and 3) Do not understand the values of the land they have immigrated to. They honestly believe that our beloved America is a mutual arrangement whereby people can make lots of money with no sacred mutual bond of patriotism or sacrifice.
The Quran is a scary document. Recently a victim of the Taliban turned up missing his left foot and his right hand, a truly sick and sadistic thing to do to another human being, a great prototype for "cruel and unusual punishment." When asked where his tormentors came up with this idea he said "Oh it's right there in the Quran."
In other words, God wants people to do that to each other. Nowhere in the document are these people admonished to have anything but contempt for unbelievers, although "people of the book" i.e. Jews or Christians may be spared for purposes of conversion, if you're neither of these, you are to be MURDERED, pure and simple. God says so. Their claim to being a mainstream religion is bogus. And their claim to Jerusalem as one of their sacred sites is ludicrous, based solely on a dream Mohammed had about riding on a mythical animal called a "Borak" all the way to Jerusalem and from there up to the seventh heaven to have a chat with the Creator of the Universe. In his lifetime he described it as a dream, but in the lore of subsequent Muslim teaching, it's something that really happened. Nonsense. But since Mohammed could neither read nor write, what can we expect?
The situation is hopeless. Pat Buchanon is right. We and they cannot live together, and if we persist in our multi-culti fantasy about Gentle Mohammed Meek and Mild, we will wake up very very soon without a culture, without a civilizaton and without a country.
All the best, Maturin
