This is precisely what I have been saying this whole time; perhaps I could have phrased it better? IMO you've given ConsistentLibertarian enough of your time and the continuing attacks are unwarranted.
To: Sonar5
Puke, are we still fighting this battle? Thank God that moron Gore isn't in the White House during this time of war.

So the election of 2000 is going to be recalled and Gore installed as President? I don't think so. If any Democrat had doubts about the legitimacy of George W. Bush as President, all doubt was erased by the events following September 11, 2001. Unless, of course, they have a vested interest in reducing the status of the United States to that of a Third World country, just to be "fair" to Cuba, South Africa, the Russian Federation, or even France.

but Gore won the election and nothing by raw, rotten, corrupt politics gave the election to Bush. Anyone that is intellectually honest has to admit this. You are confused. Bush won the Election by virtue of his Electoral College victory. That was the Election. Anyone that is not out of touch with reality has to admit this.
Flying in protesters to intimidate recounts,
Oh yes, those oh so "intimidating" protesters. Guys in ties and wingtips. I suppose you never heard the election officials explain that their decisions were not affected by those protestors anyway?
the Supremes granting an injunction that won't hold water on legal grounds,
According to your brilliant legal analysis which I assume is forthcoming....
and the repetition of the phrase the votes have been counted and counted and recounted when they were only counted once, and never even recounted a single time in all precincts as required by Florida law.
This is a lie. ALL THE BALLOTS IN FLORIDA WERE RE-COUNTED. All of them.
It was mandated by Florida law because the election was so close (margin of victory less than 1.5%). Because of the closeness, a statewide recount was mandated - and performed - promptly (completed something like the day after the election, as I recall).
How "intellectually honest" is it to tell lies?
To: stryker
Yeah right....whatever
The votes were all recounted across the entire state of FL as mandated by FL election law as was in place PRIOR to the election.
I guess you forgot about the busloads of people Gore had brought in with Jesse Jackson to march on Florida.
Pretty convenient to only remember the parts you want to remember isn't it.

This is actually patheticly funny! If all the ballots that voted for 2 Presidents were given to Gore, and if all the ballots that voted for no President were given to Gore then he wins!!!!!These people are certifiable!!! On the pre-text of knowing the public intent better than the public at large, the next Presidential election will be determined by Miss Cleo and Dr. Joyce Brothers.
Miss Cleo could tell us the next President's name now but doesn't want to kill the suspense.
Hint: it's a Democrat (even if the actual ballots determine otherwise).

WOW Gore wins if all illgel votes are counted.... This is liberal medias way of calling W a fake President.
Great , count the illegal votes and declare Gore the winner.
OBL has friends in the US media. Great, makes sense. Fake journalists calling W a fake President.
When these people decide to report (all of the) facts and not rumor and innuendo and get back to answering the key questions (Who, What When, Where, Why, How - for any aspiring journalists out there) then they may be refered to as journalists, but until then...
FDR didn't really have polio either. It was dirty tricks from the Republicans. The press would have liked nothing better than to give aid and comfort to the enemy in WWII had it been true. They were not mere reporters, nay they were historians putting all the details out for the public.

The Dems stuffed the ballot box at the end when they had an idea how many votes they would need to win. They punched multiple cards at a time which is where the chads came from. They miscounted though and did not stuff enough ballots. They then had to invent the under/over vote and hanging chad nonsense. In any other state in the country a ballot that is not punched or over punched or where the chad is left hanging is flawed. No effort is made to read the voters intent or create intent out of thin air. The instructions clearly tell you to brush the back of the card to knock off any hangers. Being that most of the so called injured voters were older and had voted many times then this should not have been news to them. I guess the war is going too well and Bush is too popular. Vietnam all over again. They will do anything to screw their own country. Pathetic bunch of scumbags.

Treasonous?, absolutely! This is outrageous Bill , Hillary and the leftist media are very anti Bush to the extent that they would sacrifice American lives. Our brain addled population is emasculated. What gets people to notice these hypocrites want your freedoms extinguished?

CNN's report on this which has now lasted through the first commercial break has one message on this.
Would the outcome have been any different had the USSC not intervened? Not likely!
They are introducing an upcoming piece as if this might finally settle the issue once and for all. CNN is reporting that by counting legal votes and undercounts Bush wins.
This is another non-story.
To: X-Servative
Even if Bush were to resign, Gore would not become President. Dick Cheney would be next in line.

"I am so GD sick of the RATS focusing on Florida votes when there were pockets of voter fraud across the entire country"
Oh, I know!!! How many felons, dead people, illegal aliens, dogs, cats, and homeless people who were bribed with cigarettes voted for Gore? I remember seeing people on TV, BRAGGING that they'd voted two or three times for Gore! Some people voted in more than one state. And what about that polling place in St. Louis that was left open longer than it should have been, so more Dems could vote?
And how many military people had their votes thrown out, or "mysteriously" never even received their ballots?
Throw out all those illegal votes, and throw back in the military votes, (plus the votes of all the Bush supporters who were discouraged and didn't even go to the polls because the media prematurely announced Gore as the winner,) and Bush wins by a landslide!
What's infuriating is, tomorrow, when this news comes out, there's going to be a whole lot of whining, gloating, and crowing from liberals, the media, and Democrats trying to rub our faces in this! It's going to be VERY annoying, but we just have to stay firm and keep reiterating all of the good points that people have brought up on this thread-- remind these creeps over and over! We can't let them get away with this.

Simple. Part of the plan is to attack and undermine confidence in established norms and customs. If there is no moral guideline then anything goes. It has worked so far. Probably the only thing that will save GWs presidency is his popularity since 9/11. The real war is still being fought at home in the institutions that make America what it is. That is the war that we better not lose. It doe's not look good though. Too many just do not care enough to get involved.

Your post says absolutely nothing. Define appropriate. Since you are a libertarian I guess that means whatever makes you fell good or gives the desired result.
