I also think about Chief and his family so often these days. I can't help but think about the devastation of losing a spouse but at such a time in this world when we need those close to us so much. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and I sincerely hope they will find comfort again one day. I think it will be a long time but at least know many strangers do care.

Hey, Joe, everybody. We need to keep the arson investigator's feet to the fire (pardon the pun). Not maliciously, but enough to let him know that Chief wasn't just a man, he was a FReeper. And we will not let him go gently into the night.

Maybe a nudge now and then to the investigator's office might keep some attention focused on this event. In fact, considering the analytical skills of some FReepers, maybe this is an opportunity to do a little digging of our own.
