Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like on
Jupiter and Mars...

Oops! Sorry! Got carried away by my all time favorite crooner. How about some Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr to round off the Rat Pack fest?

OK FReepers! This round is on me! I'll have a Kahlua and Cream please. :)

I think instead of vodka for a Bloody Mary you use tequila for a Bloody Osama.

I can't help you specifically with the brand you were smoking and finding a similar, as I had never heard of it.

We found the types we like through trial and error. Fred Stoker, and Sons, Inc has a couple of different sample packages. You can call them at 1-800-243-9377 to order a catelog. (no, I don't get anything for this!!!)

Well, they're generics, but "high end" generics---LOL. $18.91 a carton. I'm not picky, I'm an addict. TX Gulf Coast.

Re:What kind of store bought is closest to the Ryan's Best?"

Can't say. Been smoking it so long.

I was smoking Winston lights about two years ago when I went to roll your own.

Went through the gammut of tobacco, "Roll Rich" and some others.

I would have to say Winston but I tried a pack about a month ago and found them quite unbearable.

Not much to choose from here in the stores. Must go on line and order.

We called them "pocket rockets" because they are only 7oz.
It's still my preferred malt beverage to this day.
You get an eight pack instead of a six pack.

Thanks for the Fred Stoker lead.

Re:"(no, I don't get anything for this!!!)"

Sure you do

You get that good feeling that come from helping a fellow "down trodden" smoker!

Thanks again.

All right, it's getting too slow in here. A joke to liven things up some.

PAIL OF MANURE

An Indian named Brown Elk walked into the saloon. He was a giant of a man with a six-shooter tucked into his belt, so no one dared ask why he was carrying a pail of manure in one hand and a small cat in the other.

I'll have a whiskey," he told the bartender, and after downing the shot, Brown Elk ordered another. Then another. Finally, after his fourth drink, the Indian pulled out his revolver, fired several shots into the bucket, released the cat, then ran after it. When he caught it, he returned to the bar.

"E-excuse me," said the alarmed bartender, serving him a drink on the house, "but would you mind telling me what that was all about?"

"My father told me to try and be more like white man," he answered. "So, I came here to have a few drinks, shoot the shit, and chase a little pussy."

Hi Joe, glad the lounge is open.

Forgive me for taking so much time to post this, but I just had to go and get my pipe, fill it, and fire it.

Aaaaah, that's much better.

Now, I thought I would pass on to those who are visiting the Smokers' Lounge what has to be one of the greatest freebies on the whole net. I thought everyone knew about it, but I am apparently wrong.

And, that freebie is ZoneAlarm.

Anyone who spends time on the net should have a firewall. And, if you have one those broadband connections that is always on, a firewall is a must.

As the people at Zone Labs would say .........................

Powered by the same core technology as our award-winning ZoneAlarm Pro,
ZoneAlarm provides solid PC protection for the home user.

It's free for personal and non-profit use

http://www.zonelabs.com/products/index.html

And, to test your firewall, go to:

Shields Up
https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

If all is well, you can enjoy your smoke rather than use it as a nervous tic.

LOL - pocket rockets!!!!!

OK - I've got a respite for a few. Bread's in the machine, turkey's defrosting, onions all cut up - all prep work for dinner is done. now I don't have to feel guilty for having spent the better part of the day on FR instead of doing something productive - like cleaning the house!!!!

But on the other hand, he knew how frustrated I was getting when I was playing with photos on line last night - so he'll be happy to see that I got at least one web page of his daughter completed this morning!!!!!

How to make Home Made Pasta, with the help of a 3 year old!!!!
