Listen to who?

- That reminds me, I heard a rumor that you 'put' FR on the RushLimbaugh website.

Is that true? Does that make you a big wheel at FR?

He said he sent his wife and children out of the country for their own safety, but now I wonder if they left for their own safety against his anger and rage.

I started listening to Bill in '94. I was a "sheeple" and running across his program on the new shortwave my sister bought, was a real wake up call for me.

I was fascinated by so much of what he said, didn't believe alot of it but as a result of those things I questioned, I started going to the law library and researching all sorts of stuff I hadn't been aware of. So, in that respect William Cooper was a real blessing.

I did think he was pretty radical and was skeptical about his Continental Milita and the UFO stuff was just too far out there. He seemed to be falling off the fence on the wrong side, but I think what really put him over the edge was sending Annie and the kids away.

He seemed to really adore those little girls and constantly professed his love for Annie. I think he was seriously concerned for their safety. Whether there was a real threat to them or not, I don't know but I do think being away from his family may have contributed to his slide down the slippery slope.

But isn't it true that you think getting FR on limbaugh gave you special priviliges? --- That no matter how you flame, the mod squad won't ban you?

If that was true, I would be a lot more profane. As I said, many people get away with a lot more.

I'm not 'dragging' you into anything. You made a rash statement, now you're denying it. I'm wondering why its worth lying about .

If you have never listened to Cooper, DON'T make judgments, He was way ahead of the time and was a decorated vet. He served his country during a very difficult time without complaining. I saw the reaction those soldiers got when they got home. Did You?? I listened to Cooper for many, many years, first on WWCR and then on the Planet, WBCQ or whatever the station is out of Maine. Sure, I did not agree with him on everything, but I doubt there are 2 people who agree with each other all the time. I was listening to him when his long lost oldest daughter went out to visit him and he interviewed her on his show. It was very touching. The Federal Gov't people, who?, I have no idea, tried to get his own daughter to help them arrest her own father. If nothing else, Cooper made you think for yourself and that is something that is lacking in this country today. We just take everything we read or hear as if it were the only side but he said do not believe anything unless you check it out yourself!!! Decide things for yourselves not just what the politicians want you to hear or read. How many people do that? Not nearly enough. That is why I read hundreds of books a year, magazines, newspapers, different sites on the internet etc. I guess being an avid reader since elementary school helps. Everyone needs to read and research any topic before making statements before you know the whole truth. What is your favorite writer, book, and why? When I was very young, I read the usual books like the Bobbsey Twins, Nancy Drew, the Dana Girls, Hardy Boys, Tom Swift, Chip Hilton, books by Grace Livingston Hill, Dale Evans, Max Lucado, The Left Behind Books, and any others that interest me. I keep a book, magazine, or newspaper in the car so if I am ever caught in traffic, I will have something to do without the yelling etc. that other drivers do. Oh, one of my very favorite authors today is William W. Johnstone who writes westerns, fiction, Out of the Ashes series, The Eagle series, which is about a family that helped settle the old west from before Texas statehood, the Battle at the Alamo, and the family moved on to Colorado and settled that area, The First Mtn Man, The Last Mtn Man, etc. He is a wonderful author. If you find his books, read them. MamaB

Beats me. The word is that tex claims he got FR on some Limbaugh site, and that this feat makes him a special person to the powers that be.

I would guess thats why he felt safe in dissing the moderator, earlier on this thread.

Why don't you enlighten us ignorant peons as to how these guys SHOULD have tried to arrest Mr. Cooper?

Uh,here's a no brainer for rational folks. Call me on the phone and tell me to come in and bond out??????

I cannot presume to equate with Mr. Cooper's situation, but a reasonable rational person, with a clear understanding of his rights, would call his lawyer and go see the sheriff!

"FR is not the bunch of upper michigan militia inbreds that the liberals portray us as."

You sure are doing your best to convince the braindead out there by drawing some of these ridiculous comparisons.

"BTW seeing as how my comment was pulled for a medically correct term, I could report you for your post. Alas, I do not run to mommy Admin as some others apparently do (hint hint tpaineINTHE@$$)"

It seems that everyone around here is on the verge of losing their posting privileges.

At what point would you feel that government was too aggressive with its own citizens?

"Ferget it, Gawain...it's FReepertown."

Camera cranes up to reveal dark and lonely street as Gawain slowly walks away.

CUE music.

Cut. Print. That's a wrap.
