God bless our troops!

Friday, the elementary school that my girls attend will be having their annual Veteran's Day assembly.
You would love it!
Even the little ones get up and perform a patriotic song or poem in front of everyone.

This year, we are holding a luncheon for the veterans in our families, and for those in the community able to attend.

They deserve our heartfelt thanks!
I just wanted our Vets to know they are loved and appreciated, and that our present servicemen and women are too.
You are heroes!

And someday, I hope you can attend such an event as ours with your children, grandchildren, or nieces and nephews.

It bears repeating:"God Bless Our Troops!"

Hi, "Gal" , I am sorry - I realized I had put girl there instead of gal after I looked again at one of your posts, but decided not to change it on the photo as the text is all "part" of the photo and had already been uploaded to my server. I think I mispelled another name on the group on Tuesday, too. In the thread on Sunday there will be a little paragraph below each photo, and the names are spelled correctly there.
