Those Thompsons would almost certainly have been on the ATF Curios & Relics list.

It turns out that C&R NFA items happen to be an exception to the Missouri law prohibiting NFA possession (provided the owner has a C&R or higher FFL).

The NRA-ILA state law summary neglects to mention this exception -- in fact, it declares MG possession to be illegal.

Fortunately, the very useful ATF greenbook has the relevant state law: Missouri Firearm Laws

My mistake.

Can any body tell me about .444Cal. ammo? How does it compare to the .44Mag.? The .45Lc.

I knoww the .454 Casull (now the .480), will blow anything out of the water, but I was considering more convential rounds,
