This was posted sometime ago on a Pro-2A website. Im not sure who the author was, but I tried to recall this from memory, so some of it is my original thoughts. I dont think this has been posted here before. I thought it would make a good discussion.

Well, someone did suggest that #8 Be a .50 BMG and #9 be a full auto..... but those are out of many people's price range.

What about a water pistol for summer hi-jinx?
To: Lurker
I totally forgot about your thread, Lurker. Great job and good advice! I can see we think alike.

I thought another "must have" was a "street sweeper", for riots, massive war attacks, and other fun stuff.
It's the pedestrians "daisy cutter".

7 guns is a minimum. Call it a "starter set." If your wife, after much consternation, allows you to have only one gun, which one would should you get?

but those are out of many people's price range.Yeah, money does get to be an issue. Even if I could afford the chain gun, I probably couldn't afford to keep it in ammunition for more that 5 minutes.
To: harpseal
Yeh, it is just the basic set of guns. Some guys out there might not want to let their less-than understanding wives see this; she might think it means you only need seven guns. LOL!!

If your wife, after much consternation, allows you to have only one gun, which one would should you get? A new wife.....

Surely you are not asking me to advocate owning "illegal weapons", are you..... ;)
To: FreeTally
I hope you were kidding about them being "illegal" (I figure that's why the quotes). For the record, they're completely legal.

f your wife, after much consternation, allows you to have only one gun, which one would should you get?I would opt for a new wife. But that's not a problem. Her weapons tend to be more expensive than mine.

I would also add a pocket pistol, probably in .32 ACP, which will be a backup for concealed carry, or primary when a larger gun can not be concealed. (Carry an extra magazine when it is the primary, because more shots are needed to stop an assailant than with larger calibers.)
To: ironwill
The first one should be for her.
Then, you can use the old "but honey I need one, too." routine.
