Whatever you do, don't back down, and don't be imtimidated.
Answer your detractors with reasoned arguments. A quick search on Free Republic will always give you the facts you need to debunk leftist drivel in all its forms.
Also, keep in mind that there are probably people that agree with you that are afraid to speak up.
Good luck.

Sorry to say that killing them with kindness will never work. These people have an agenda and being kind to them means nothing. But if the kindness actually kills them, won't it ultimately be worth it?

You cannot be "attacked" verbally, unless you are a total sissy. "verbally attacked" is a liberal notion, as liberals are notorious wimps.

It's stories like this that make me glad I was in an engineering program in college. Sure, I have no literary skills, but at least I didn't have to listen to as much of that liberal BS as you do.

What's it covering? The Peloponnisian Wars? To tell you the truth, yes! Except we are on Rome now, we did the Peloponnisian Wars last week.

Tell him to go read chapters 2,5, and 9 from his holy book. That explains how 'peaceful' Islam really is.
If it was a few isolated verses like some might point out in the Bible it might be ok, but that book is a war manual for their religion.

I'm starting my own campaign "Fry Mumia".
In lard, butter, or vegetable oil? Try pork fat!

Whatever you do - DON'T BACK DOWN. I used to write weekly letters to my student newspaper (fortunately, had a conservative editor who published them). Had two professors lightly come after me, but I confronted them, and, to me, it seemed like they agreed with my point of view after I talked with them (but then again, I'm 6'3 and was well-known in martial arts on campus).
A suggestion - see if your local city paper has a conservative columinist who is willing to investigate/report on the goings-on. You could (discretely) tape your classes for them, but check your school policy on taping classes first. Another thing is just have the reporter attend a class, depending upon the size.
Another suggestion is to get a hold of you school's alumni list, and see if you could see if you could do a mass mailing to let them know what is going on.
A final suggestion would be to start your own student paper, if there's not already a conservative paper for you to go to. Contact the Blackwell Institute or Young Americans for Freedom for assistance in that.
Good luck.

I went through that crap too until I had enough. Best use of your time and money is is to go to a tech school, get a computer science certificate (no liberal arts credits) then start a computer software company (say "Majorsoft, Inc.") and then you can hire & fire those stupid Harvard grads to your hearts content. Enjoy!

"You cannot be `attacked' verbally, unless you are a total sissy." So, assuming he was verbally attacked ...

I agree w/Pennsylvania mom, turn the guy into campus security. If they won't do nothing, call the FBI. If you can, move off campus, buy a gun, learn how to use it and pick up some hand-to-hand training. Avoid walking home alone in dark areas, and watch your back at all times. Not to scare you, but if that guy is a radical, he will have no qualms about going after the 'infidel American pigdog.'
To: Dengar01
Congratulations for standing up for your principles. It takes a lot of courage to speak out when surrounded by dedicated liberals. Just hang in there!

saying that the sexual mutilation and the cutting the head off a calf was accepted in the "Holy Book" Ask him for chapter and verse. It'll be easy enough to find a copy of the koran on line and look it up. Heck, give me the chapter and verse, I'll be happy to look it up. If true, ask the teacher what she thinks of a religion that endorses this kind of behavior...

what's a guy like you doing in a place like that? Everybody has to take Freshman English. I see it's only gotten worse in the 33 years since I took it. First semster was this hippie who was always trying to shock everybody, by wearing really short skirts and then climbing up on the desk, or even the window ledges. She was too skinny for that to be very interesting. Second semester's instructor was just as left wing, but dressed and acted, when not flapping her jaws, fairly respectably. First semester I wrote a short "Star Trek" episode where two of the Starships wer the USS Richard Nixon and the USS Spiro Agnew, just to get her goat. Second semester I bitched into my journal about the siezure of the USS Peublo and the earlier shooting down of a USAF EC-121 by the "peacefull and progressive" Democratic People's Republic of Korea. She didn't like that much either. I did fine on the tests, such as they were. Both classes were worthless as far as teaching anybody to write, the ostensible reason for their being required to take them. As y'all know, I still can't write.

Some of the best speakers and persuaders are those who find a way to make profound statements without emotionalism. That sounds like Barbara Olsen and she was a perfect example of how to win a debate.

ahh, another one for the list. If you're in your 20's, check out "the list" and join the club. We "feel your pain", so to speak.
ugh, I can't even use that phrase without thinking of BJ Clinton.

What are the chances of taping the encounters in your class and then presenting them to some of our representatives in government? It would be good to expose this stuff, imo. I think a lot of people would be shocked to know what you are up against, and perhaps some of the funding might be cut back if people were more aware of what really goes on.

Yes, some precautions are in order. The
Mumia crowd is not interested in discourse.
