I hope momentum carries this mindset and permanently paralyzes those who strive to butcher the second amendment.

Paragraphs are our friends.

Don't be too sure about that, now. I once had a paragraph as a "friend" and all it wanted to do was borrow money. And it never paid anything back. Buncha good for noth'ins those paragraphs are.

Thanx for the repost ;) I've been a member on here for a few years, but never have (up until now) posted other than to reply or bump.

I'm happy to say, I've been of this mind for a long time though, I'm no bandwagon-jumper now that times are bringing change. It is nice to see eyes opened, only a shame that the price is and will be so high.

"I think all women oughta carry a cell phone and a three-fifty-seven. Loaded." So declares a woman interviewed by The New Republic's Michelle Cottle.

Here's an "I already do" bump.

I suggest most women carry something with less kick than a .357 or load it with .38+P's......JMHO...

"Manly men are back!"

Whooo-Hoooooo! I'm a pretty good shot with a 357. All women need to know how to operate a gun, even a small gun.

It depends on the woman. For me, 357 is great for target practice, but for concelled carry, (when we get it) I will carry something smaller.

I once made an enemy of a paragraph ... it's still demanding an apology for my calling it a phrase.

I'm six three, 280+ pounds (with a *little* muscle under the fat) and I do the same thing- I'd rather hit 'em quickly and accurately with a .38 than miss 'em with a 125 grn. .357.

Of coure, if it's a near miss, I'll still set them on fire with the muzzle blast! *grin*

At least you didn't call it a sentence. Most paragraphs I know are really touchy about that! ;)

I'm a woman and I have a .357. It's what a learned on from a good friend of mine who was a Vietnam Vet. I have both .357 and .38 shells, and practice with both. I agree that the gun is a little too powerful, but I'm so used to it that when I practice with something smaller I feel like I'm playing with a toy, and I'm not as accurate. It's PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE if you want to hit your target, with any gun!

My father taught riflery in the navy, myself and my brothers are all very good shots....but mom is the best shot in the family.

That's funny! My ex couldn't hit the side of a barn as they say with a 357, but set out 6 cans and I can usually get 5 out of 6. It's a blast using it for practice, though. *VBG*
