I am just trying to report the latest election news even tought it may be terrible. I find it interesting that you sent your reply to Jim Robinson to see if he could ban me since this post did not make you feel warm and fuzzy. I am a realist, I think that people need to get the facts as bad as they may somehow be, so that we can solve problems in today's society.
By the way, your reply doesn't suprise me because you said on a post posted on 09/23/1999 at 20:37:05: "Yes, you read that right. I support censorship."

It would have been nice to pick up that New Jersey seat if Torch had resigned. We need a few more Senate seats so badly right now! Even 2 or 3 "moderate-conservatives" like Richard Lugar would be helpful. We need to get more judges through the Senate. Remember, judges are for life. It's that important.

And you think they have a better chance of getting elected?

Generally speaking, sometimes it's nice to remind our 'leaders' that they can lose.

Don't be a CREEPER!

BALCER is a screwball. Her husband got bounced from a job with the City of Jersey City. Since then, she's been a regular at City Council meetings ranting and raving all sorts of nonsence about Bret.

In New York, it looks like Bloomberg is going to take it. Even AL SHARPTON is disgusted with Green!

Here in New Jersey, we've got our work cut out for us. The socialists have outspent us 10 to 1. The lib press fawns and croons at McGreevey, while nearly every article about Bret is a stab in the back.

Here's how you can help Bret:

  1. DONATE!
  2. Tell your friends about Bret Schundler

Don't forget; we could have had the Senate right now if the Libertarian would not have ran in Washington.

I believe that the Republicans have veto-proof supermajorities in both houses of the state Legislature.

I don't think that Schundler will need you voting Libertarian to remind that he can lose.

I hope you people did not get offended by this post. I posted that we are down 18 in NJ so that we can wake up, do something, and win the state. I posted that DiFrancesco is not endorsing Schundler to show the stupidity of some Reps in the "Moderate" states. and I post the terrorist article so that we are all aware and reminded of the tricks that the Rats use to win elections.

The Senator from Washington lost because he refused to vote to convict Clinton not because a libertarian pulled in votes.

You think that just moderate Republicans make that mistake?

I did say generally speaking, marajade. Not commenting on Schundler.

I think it's a valid argument. I'm not Republican, Dem, anything really when I think about it.

Politicians with a 'blank check' are the worst. Those that think some party affiliation will cover them. Not here.

The GOP 'leaders' in New Jersey lose all the time.

That is not true. Washington is NOT a Conservative state like Kansas or Utah where this would have happened. Then why did Gore win the popular vote despite the fact that Clinton was impeached? Many Americans forgot about impeachment in 2000 because their wallets were lined up with 20 dollar bills and Bill Clinton did not combat the evils that go against America so we would not have to worry about it and we could have so-called "peace and prosperity"

Some states can not win with conservative candidates. NY, NJ, Mass and the old Ukraine come to mind. Bush lost NJ 56-41, if Schundler does that well, then he did good. I sent him some money and I would do it again because he is a conservative but I never expected he would win. I did hope he would run on his values and not back down and thats what he did.

I tip my hat to him.

As for NY, it doesn't matter who wins, they are political dopplegangers dressed in different suits.

"Many Americans forgot about impeachment in 2000 ..."

Apparently not the Republicans who spurned him for his vote to acquit and thereby voting Libertarian.

Your post would have better if you had said something like "OK, we're down in NJ and VA, and here's what we can do to win" instead of "It's over. We've lost. Go home.". Also, you should have mentioned that recent polls also map Bret with a 9% and 13% difference, so there's no definite answer.

Also, remember the NJ Independent factor -- NJ voters tend to not make up their minds until the day of the election -- so there's always a way to win!

"We'd do better if Bush made campaign appearances for the Republicans, but he's too busy hobnobbing with Ted Kennedy."

Proof please.

I think the independent factor makes it more difficult for a Rep to win in NJ.
