Yeah, that blowhard is hilarious. He reminds me of my fat uncle. Mike doesn't take himself too seriously, which is refreshing. I like how he handles callers. He lets them make their point but doesn't let them rabble on. I remember when he tried to antogonize the animal rights people by buying a cow, named 'Old Blue Eyes', to slaughter to feed the homeless.
Mike in hunger,
Mike in pain,
Pass the steak sauce,
Old Blue Eyes
Did Not Die In Vain.

We have to remember the effort required for Rosie to lift that big fat ass. Maybe she would have stood if a crane had picked her big ass up?

As I said earlier in the post, I think they are spitting hairs. Gallagher wasted three hours on Rosie. This was time that could've been better spent making fun of Gray Davis. As for Hugh, he was en fuego! Best show I've heard in a long time!

Growing up, the school district tried to push us to sign up for "free lunches," but my father refused. He admitted that some of the children on the program really would go hungry without it (my Mom herself packed extra "sack lunches" for some of these kids on school outing or field trip days when the system "forgot" that not all kids could bring a sack lunch--they got lunch anonymously from mom, I got INHERITANCE) but there were also many children that could have survived without the free lunches had they been raised like us. Awesome.

You people don't understand how hard it is for someone morbidly obeast to get out of one of the stadium seats. I stayed well after the game and watch what it took to get her outta that seat. It took: 40 yards of rope 1 Tenesse work horse 3 men 1 blow torch 1 5gallon tub of axle grease SO STOP GIVING HER A HARD TIME

WOW!!! Good thing that there are no morbidly obease (or obeast as you put it) FReepers out here... that would be terrible, wouldn't it? OK, everyone.... please state you name, height, weight and bra size (if applicable) and the height and weight people will make sure that you are allowed to be a FReeper.... and if you're cute enough they'll post your picture
>/Sarcasm>
Soooo much not a Rosie fan here..
But I am wondering if Rosie's size is the best shot you can take at her when she gives you so much other amunition????
And before you ask, yep, I'm fat.
Flame away ;-)

I read your posts as it developed, and I wanted to respond, but it seems I spent my time trying to rebut arguments, etc. Couldn't help it. However, now that I am again logged on for the second time today, and just checking to see what's left of the thread, I just want to say that we lived in Denver for 10 years (northwest Denver), and I miss it EVERY DAY. Especially the talk radio (although believe me, the mountains are first, last and always); I used to listen to Art Bell every day (uh, night), everything on the various talk stations..... I can't believe we moved right before the Avs won the cup a second time! What's been happening in Denver??? And, by the way, thanks to your posts, I am now extremely curious about Hugh Hewitt (??) and I'll follow the threads to learn more about him.
This is why I LOVE FR! No one who's never been here understands how it can inform, entertain, and just draw people all over the country (hemisphere?) together. :)

Yeah, Clark Howard is now the #2 radio talk show host in the USA behind you-know-who.

I think she suddenly supports and loves President Bush due to the fact that she realized that were pictures of her and don't forget that she has a magazine trying to make it and Bush has a large majority of positives.

I saw a little of Rosie O' Donnell this morning (just a snippet). She stated that she had her little boy with her and she was bending down and pointing the prez out to her son. I believe she was going to use her camcorder to capture the moment. Hey, wait a minute, any time I have seen President Bush in person, we cannot take anything with us like a camera. Did they let her breach security because she was Rosie O' Donnell?

Re #134: If your question is sincere, well, no, he's not a "Royal". but, everyone else was standing up and cheering and applauding wildly. Sitting down at such a time, well, it does perhaps point to a certain disagreement with the sentiments of fellow attendees. Perhaps, but not necessarily.

Thanks for that proof. I will now be able to show my wife a third person account of how to make a burrito. "You ROLL a burrito, not fold a burrito honey".
I've been trying to explain that to her for going on ten years and when she makes 'em it never fails down the chin go drips.

Homesick for Colorado, eh? What's going on in Denver? Flags everywhere, even in the predominately liberal City neigborhoods, including mine.
As far as I can tell, we have just about the worst security screening lines in the country, post 9-11. The City blames United, United blames Argenbright, and little gets done.
You mentioned the Av's, eh? The Stanley Cup was way cool, Denver went hockey-crazy. I took the kids to the victory parade and rally. Civic Center was wall-to-wall. The Nuggets are, well, the Nuggets. Everyone is really nervous if the Broncos are what they said pre-season. And the Rockies' manager said next year will be another rebuilding year. (Oh boy)
The aspen were luminously gold this year. September and October were mild. We have the first Republican Governor in decades and he's doing a great job with high approval ratings. 'Tis a privilege to live in Colorado!
P.S. You can listen to Hugh Hewitt on line at hughhewitt.com. He covers the news like nobody else and has terrific guests.

I disagree, I don't think the whole issue warrants any media attention at all. The main point is, she is saying on her show that she thinks he is doing a good job. Considering how Bubba Clinton is Hollywoods Fav Prez, I think thats pretty good.
You said: "The point IS Rosie O'Donnell LIED at the expense of another, when she could have had many plausible excuses for being seated. Standing or sitting is not the issue with me. Her LIE is.(Similarly to Clinton's affairs, I couldn't care less, except that he was too cowardly to speak the truth)
Again, a NON issue. It isn't important.
And!!! I could care less that Clinton lied about his affairs. It was when he raised his right hand under oath, and undermined the RIGHTS of a complaintant/Paula Jones to a fair trial, that I cared. The LIE was between he and his maker.. the lie under Oath was MY business!!!
