Hey, I thought CNN issued a directive to be more balanced. Maybe Ms. Armanpour was not listening. Or perhaps, she knows that Time Warner will not back up their directive. I still believe all reports from Taliban officials ought to be shown split screen with scenes of WTC towers falling.THAT is balance!

She then tried to argue that anti-Americanism was due to the failure of U.S. public relations, not the misleading statements of our enemies. "You’ve said over and over again, and so have all of the leaders of this coalition, that this is not a war against Islam but one against terrorism. But as you know, there are very loud voices in this region who are saying exactly the opposite, that this is in fact, they claim, a war against Islam," Amanpour told Rumsfeld. "Are you concerned that you have been slow in getting your message out to the Moslem world?"

I wonder if she realizes that as an American journalist and partially responsible for showing the world what America stands for! In other words, she is part of the problem.

I use the phrase American journalist reservedly, but can't really figure out any better words to convey my message.
