Do we really care what Amanpour or any of the "middle easterners" say, think or do...let's just make a parking lot out of Afghanistan and start drilling for oil and natural gas. Semper Fi, Mike

Ms. Amanpour,
Please shed a little light on something?
Did you and CBS reporter Bob Simon have an unprofessional and adultress affair while you were working for CNN during the Gulf War?
Was your illicit affair public knowledge to other journalists? Did you know at the time that Mr. Simon had a wife? Were your actions following his capture by the Iraqis helpful to the situation at the time?

Hey, I thought CNN issued a directive to be more balanced. Maybe Ms. Armanpour was not listening. Or perhaps, she knows that Time Warner will not back up their directive. I still believe all reports from Taliban officials ought to be shown split screen with scenes of WTC towers falling.THAT is balance!

She then tried to argue that anti-Americanism was due to the failure of U.S. public relations, not the misleading statements of our enemies. "Youve said over and over again, and so have all of the leaders of this coalition, that this is not a war against Islam but one against terrorism. But as you know, there are very loud voices in this region who are saying exactly the opposite, that this is in fact, they claim, a war against Islam," Amanpour told Rumsfeld. "Are you concerned that you have been slow in getting your message out to the Moslem world?"I wonder if she realizes that as an American journalist and partially responsible for showing the world what America stands for! In other words, she is part of the problem.
I use the phrase American journalist reservedly, but can't really figure out any better words to convey my message.

Hey Disrupter, your pinhead friends at DU are wondering where you are.

I believe it is insulting to call Amanpour a slut - insulting to all the true sluts of this world, that is. Hey, sluts are good, or at least, they can make you feel good. Not so with Christiane. More like a douche bag, I would say. Christiane, you ignorant douche bag. Or, maybe we should just follow Michael Savage. On his show, he simply refers to her as Mata Hari.

I think that CNN should be rewarded - for their 'forward thinking' - in hiring someone with a Negative IQ, and showing the whole world that any idiot can do just about anything.....
...sorry.....I'll go sit in the corner, now....

Be gone, little one.

That must be why the high mucky-mucks at CNN have ordered their reporters to be more balanced in their reporting ... yeah ... that's it.
