Unless you count anthrax. But then again "we can't link that to Sept. 11," etc....whatever.

Mass deportation time .... Let's start a petition to deport anybody that isn't a US citizen and doesn't know by heart the pledge of allegience.

The Anthrax attack came right after the last Terror Alert.

You think if I didn't know what I was talking about, I could get work as a journalist?

I belive the time has come for the President to declare that all non-federal gun controls, including laws against wearing sidearms, are null and void. He should also include all federal laws, but I wouldn't be too put out if he'd leave in the machine gun parts of the National Firearms Act, though they be as unconsitutional as any other such laws. If they are going to keep issuing these warnings, I'd like to be able to protect myself, without having to worry about spending time in Leavenworth or other federal pokey. He'd also need to request, since he has no power to order, that all employers change there no guns policies to allow at least their employees to protect themselves and others while on the job, if they so desired.

We are not going to handout treats this year. The warning, coming so close to Halloween, should make parents think a little bit. The kids should not be on the streets and neither should the parents.

Uh, Yes. Sarcasm right?

I believe the anthrax letters were mailed well before that warning.

What type of firearm would you use against an anthrax-filled envelope?

If it is Halloween I suggest people stay out of San Francisco that evening.

Why do you mention SF specifically??

I doubt that terrorist will strike during Halloween. These terrorists want maximum exposure. Try Christmas morning while everyone is gathered around the tree and watching hmmm a parade maybe?

There was, however, a warning right before the weekend of 9-21. I remember vividly since we had out-of-town guests and had tickets to take them to the new Miller Park in Milwaukee. There had been some debate whether it was safe...we went, it was! But...weren't some of the letters mailed around that time?

When Ashcroft walked in front of the camera tonight, from the look on his face I just knew he was going to say one of our cities had been bombed. If looks are any indication as to how genuine this info is, or how bad they expect the attack to be, then I think we all need to get far away from any major city for the next week. God Bless America..
