Damn. I thought that headline said "Big City Majorettes". What a disappointment.

"As single people begin to wake up and realize that we are being cheated sometimes to the tune of thousands of dollars per year in higher taxes, higher insurance rates, fewer employee benefits and smaller Social Security benefits more of their attention and support will shift toward organizations fighting for legal and economic reform," Coleman says.

(SIGH) Add single people to the growing list of "oppressed victims" in this country...

As a contractor I see the singles trend in Chicago"s renovated neighborhoods. Some people say there is no sense of a community because these yuppies are transient. People who are starting families are not going to send their children into Chicago's public school system where armed cops are the norm. So they move as far away as possible in the collar comunities where crime is low people are stable and they don't fear that their kids are going to be beaten in school by thugs and gangs.

I'm single. No way do I feel like a victim. But you are correct, some are always looking for victimhood status.

Looking for trouble? Look for a broad, any broad, rich or poor, white or black, working the downtown scene.

Read Oswald Spengler's "The Decline of the West". This trend towards singlehood, as opposed to forming families with children, is part of a predictable demographic meltdown. Like Rome, the West seems to be spiraling into a pattern of social/moral/cultural decay, population collapse, and mass migrations of foreign "barbarians".

Thanks for the recommendation. And I agree with your premise. I'm single, not by choice, but because the right man hasn't happened along yet. I'm ready to get rid of my single status.

Does Oswald Spengler know any woman that don't yammer on endlessly for all eternity?

Osborn is leading the single man's good life in trendy Buckhead, his treadmill in front of the TV for those Sunday afternoons of football, nothing but bottled water in the fridge. He shares the upscale apartment only with a shelter cat named Byron.

He's gay; that is why he isn't finding any women...

All these singles better get hooked up quickly and start having about 4-6 kids per family, or in two or three generations we're all going to be speaking Arabic or Farsi. God is forgiving, but Nature isn't.

In the last 35 years there has been a breakdown in the relationship between the sexes with a resultant single condition. Singles also tend to be liberal Democrats.

Singles also tend to be liberal Democrats.

Or, anecdotally anyway, conservatives who are cut off from a suitable base of sane, thoughtful, loyal and available potential spouses by the design of city life itself.

and people on this forum cannot figure out why illegal immigration has been such a success?

people in this country don't have enough children to make our economy work.
