I thought he was a disruptor myself when I saw the very first post he made to me. It didn't make sense and was just a jibe.

I would rather have someone say to me "Capt. Tom you are wrong we shouldn't be killing people for any reason even self defense. We should love them and if they choose to kill us like slaughtered lambs we will go to heaven and the murderers will go to hell. We will be much better off,since this world is just a transitinary stage on our way to the hereafter."

I have more respect for that type of foolish suicidal logic than all the other reasons given why we shouldn't hunt down and kill the perpertrators and backers of the Sept. 11 attack. -Tom

There are 56 card-carrying socialists in Congress right now (official and contributing members of the Progressive Caucus, an arm of the DSA... Democratic Socialists of America). That's 11% of all our representatives, and 24% of all Democrats. This includes my representative in the House, Ms Julia Carson. (Thank you FReeper EdZep for opening my eyes)

They'll continue to succeed because they've done a simply masterful job of lying, cheating, stealing, obfuscating, obstructing, and keeping the careless voters dependent and scared. My guess is that we'll vote in total Socialism (without most people noticing) within the 21st Century. We're at least 60% of the way there as it is. Check out the ten planks of the Communist Manifesto, and the 45 goals of the Communist Party written in a Congressional review in 1963 (see post #51, especially)... almost all are irreversibly part of our daily lives.

The basic reason the socialists are successful is they operate under the "End justifies the means approach."
This is very effective against naive law abiding saps who follow the rules and are therefore restrained by them.

This 9/11 attack will wake a lot of naive people up to the fact that there are enemies out there,internaly and externaly.

The war against muslim terrorists is pretty obvious. The war against the constitution and our American heritage is more subtle. Terrorists are like rats in the house,pretty obvious. Socialists are like termites, you have to look for the signs. -Tom

I've really got to update my YADDA page. Note that Cynthia Mckinney is on the "Progressive Caucus" list. I should mention her tretchery in attempting to counter NYC Mayor Giuliani's rejection of the Saudi prince's tainted money. (Here's a little pic I worked up with McKinney at Hanoi Jane's side. So far, I've gotten 2 people asking, "Is that really her?")

And, note that Lynn Woolsey is on the list. She has played a major role in attempting to rip the Boy Scouts of America from the fabric of our country, through initiatives designed to either force the Scouts to accept homosexual leaders and scouts, or be banned from using any form of public facility.

Also, note that Nancy Pelosi, who recently became the #2 Democrat in the House, is a Progressive Caucus member.
