Do you or anyone have the link to the FR article that ran about two weeks ago - the one illustrating how Al Gore headed up a committee to examine airline security back in late 1996 and Gore found nothing in airline security that could be improved on - then the Clinton/Gore re-election campaign received cks for over $500,000 from six of so airlines???? It certainly would have called their bluff. Can't imagine any of them would actually show up. If I were the operation commander and they actually showed up, I would make sure their chute pack was packed with rags and the same for their reserve. "And I'll bet the trucks won't be there to pick us up either".

Not to mention there would probably be less chance of those travelling with the enemy not reporting the enemy's intentions to safeguard their brother journalists a**. In other words, if you know the bad guys are going to ambush, do you tell your brothers travelling with the good guys?
