True. Israel has no legal right to acquire the occupied territories by force. They are legally constrained by the Geneva Conventions and UN Resolutions 224 and 338. Israel wants to take the land and resources from the indigenous Arab people. That's why they've set up an apartheid-style system of occupation to beggar and corral the Palestinians while expanding Israeli settlement.

Neither side has the moral justification to target civilians. Israeli soldiers and settlers get away with it all the time. Only the myopic or biased fail to see that the Israeli occupation amounts to state-sponsored terrorism against Palestinians.
