I don't necessarily agree with all of this.
Check the source. I wonder what organ this came from?

It appears that she does.

The article may be a little over the top, but the same things being pushed for during the Clinton administration are being pushed by the Bush administration--contained in legislation for anti-terrorism.
Do you honestly believe that the sunset provision of the legislation will really take effect? I don't.
And we are one election away from some future Clinton, who would be more than happy to continue the attack on American citizens and their liberties rather than defending us from real enemies.

I ain't goin' there.Yeah, I didn't know a bull's a$$ could write, either.LOL

the nebulousness of the war reminds me of America's first and longest war, which began with the extermination of Raleigh's colony at Roanoke Island, and ended, I guess at Wounded Knee, unless it was the capture of Geronimo. It wasn't a pretty site either, but we all experience the benefits of its having been fought and won, so you can't run away from it.

Americas latest, greatest war. New and improved, from the country that brought you the Gulf War, WWI and II.How, pray, did America start those wars?

The parallels of today's situation with the scenario described in 1984 are uncanny.

These wars like most were fought for power and wealth not any high minded ideals.Wouldn't we have obtained more power and wealth had we occupied most of the world after we had conquered it? The fact that we didn't but instead rebuilt them and left them to their previous occupiers to govern indicates that we were not seeking wealth and power. Do you ever think or do you just spout?
