"The seed of promise and no other road."...
The seed of Amalek is alive and well...ISLAM is THE ENEMY of our Souls:
"Then the LORD said to Moses, "Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely eradicate the memory of Amalek from under Heaven."
"Moses built an altar and called it The LORD is my Banner. He said, "For hands were lifted up to the throne of the LORD. The LORD will be at war against the Amalekites from Generation to Generation."
(S'hmot / Exodus 17:14-16)!

Islam, Judaism, and Christianity have each been claiming that the others have "got it all wrong" for centuries. And so it goes.Ah Owk. Ever the moral relativist. It's all the same to Owk. Zionism is evil. Nazism was evil. 9-11 was evil. America is evil. It's all the same to Owk.

It's possible to debate to a fault. And your post demonstrates this very well. Usually the premise comes before the proof, though, not at the end. I didn't read the whole thing, so I might have missed an earlier mention of your topic.

The fundamentals of all versions of Buddhist belief are the Four Noble Truths.
All Buddhists, then, are fundamentalists.

I stayed up till 3:00am this morning reading this thread and only got to about #325.
I had some questions for you and finally realized how old the thread was! LOL! Bookmarking this until I can spend some more time.
One question for now: Did you come to these conclusions through your own studies, if not, what or who has been your major influence? I have been leaning towards this interpretation myself, since I find it hard to reconcile all races began with Adam, and for that matter, all but Noah and his family being destroyed in the flood, defacto making his family the top of the totem pole of all mankind.

Wow, a nice comeback, filled with a logical explanation.
Oh wait, that was an uncalled for personal attack.

I see your logic.
But honestly OWK, I would think that you would rather put up with Christians than Muslims.... :-)

But honestly OWK, I would think that you would rather put up with Christians than Muslims.... Those who actually comprehend and follow the teachings of Jesus are among the best people I know.
They are however, exceedingly rare.

The Biblical god you have described sounds like the God Jesus described not the Old Testement god. The Old Testement God was wrathful, spiteful and bloodthirsty. Please feel free to correct me.
To: dljordan
The Old Testement God was wrathful, spiteful and bloodthirsty. As well as tyrannical, brutal, contradictory, and foundationally evil.

Funny to say that the Creator of everything was "foundationally evil". I mean, truth is subjective to who created truth, don't you think?

He violated that moral code with murderous vigor.

I mean, I don't agree with you on your assessment, but even if He were, He still created you whether you like it or not.
Would you consider yourself "morally superior" to oppose Him and suffer His wrath? Be it for an eternity?
