Islam attracts converts because it gives them something to belong to; and it makes demands of its converts. It provides a focus for hatred and instills in its members a sense of mission.

Blacks in America are transferring their allegiance from the Left, which is now degenerate and discredited, to the Coming Thing. It is happening not just in America, but the world over.

Part of the solution is to rediscover Christianity and western values. What a difference there is between Jesus and Mohammed! Read their lives and ask yourself who lights the way and who darkens the path. The only way to rediscover our core beliefs is to strip away the crud that has been laid on by the Liberals. Robert Mapplethorpe and the NEA did as much as anyone could to convince the world that the only place for the cross was in a bottle of urine. We can begin by reviving some of the old Christian watchways. I am not ashamed to make the sign of the cross in public, and will do so especially when Muslims can see me.

Don't do it while driving, OK?

When I drive, I say "in the name of the spectacles, the testicles, the wallet and the watch" as this is more in keeping with the spirit of road rage.

But when I am in church, it is "In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit".

It's a 106 miles to Chicago. We got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Okay, it's closer to 400 miles from where I'm at. I got about a half tank of gas, no cigarettes, it's still dark, and my sunglasses are in the car.

Do you think they would let me keep my velvet Elvis poster?

Only if it shows him kneeling on a prayer rug and Lisa Marie is veiled.

Experts say Islam is attractive because of its universal message

I'm really surprised. I thought it had a very poor image in the West. We associate Islam with terrorists, oppression of women, lack of human rights, tyrannical governments, etc ...

This isn't the exact thread but the info is the same

A few examples of Islamic tolerance:

Saudia Arabia - Conversion by a Muslim to another religion is punishable by death. Bibles are illegal.

Yemen - Bans proselytizing by non-Muslims and forbids conversions. The Government does not allow the building of new non-Muslim places of worship

Kuwait - Registration and licensing of religious groups. Members of religions not sanctioned in the Koran may not build places of worship. Prohibits organized religious education for religions other than Islam

Egypt -Islam is the official state religion and primary source of legislation. Accordingly, religious practices that conflict with Islamic law are prohibited. Muslims may face legal problems if they convert to another faith. Requires non-Muslims to obtain what is now a presidential decree to build a place of worship

Alergia - The law prohibits public assembly for purposes of practicing a faith other than Islam. Non-Islamic proselytizing is illegal, and the Government restricts the importation of non-Islamic literature for widespread distribution.

(All information is from US State Department Human Rights Reports)

Sorry, I don't have the stomach to read this. But my two cents is that a bunch of losers, misfits and ne'er-do-wells, and others with axes to grind are going to be attracted to Islam because of the attack on the WTC. On the other hand, I expect to see women quietly jumping ship. The brutality of the attack combined with the publicity given to the life of women under Wahhabi Islam should get women looking for other religions.

Hello??? We have had a Jihad declared against us. So far 7000 innocent Americans killed in it. Jihad means an Islamic holy war. It has something to do with Islam whether or not you like it, also look at what is going on in Nigeria and Sudan. Also Muslims killing millions of non-Muslims in the name of Islam.

I dare you to go to the Taliban or to bin Laden and tell them to their faces that they aren't Muslims, it might be easy to sit thousands of miles away and think you define who is and who isn't a Muslim but you don't have that authority.

It's funny, isn't it? Westerners so eager to excuse Islam that they discount almost every actual, real life Muslim as not representing "the REAL Islam." They pick the most innocuous and proclaim them "the REAL Islam." Who are we to do that? Who are we to go through the muslims and decide that all the ones who offend us are false? They even pick through the Koran for verses that sound nice and hold them up as the "real" Islam. Violent verses are "out of context" (so are the peaceful ones, but never mind that, we are busy defining Islam for mass consumption.)
