Whew! Lotta driving (2228 miles!) for a lotta phun, a lotta FRiendship, a lotta Patriotism, and a much needed getaway with old and new FRiends!

The last cruise I went on, the ship was large, grey and had BIG guns – USS New Jersey (BB-62) – Long Beach to Hawaii in 1983. Awesome ship, awesome fireworks, awesome trip.

Having said that, the FReeper Cruise was at least two orders of magnitude better in all respects: my cabin was definitely not a “Mark 1, Mod 0, Standard Navy Officers Stateroom!"; the crew was better mannered (and MUCH BETTER LOOKING!); the food was outstanding; the company was awesome (FReepers ARE AWESOME, y’know!); the booze was better; the ship’s motion was conducive to good sleeping (we steamed at night) (Hey! U.S. Navy! Computerized stabilizers WORK!); and the liberty was special. Not to mention that I like my roommate a whole lot better than my Navy assigned roommate!

But the absolute best part of this cruise is that, once again, as we have done in the past and will do in the future, “We band of Brothers and Sisters” have met each other and spent some time getting to know each other better in order to work together more effectively .

Guess what? It should come as no surprise that we like each other! And we agreed to work with each other, and other FReepers, of course, to continue our battle to restore the Constitution and to make America a better country for us and the generations yet to come.

Stay tuned. We cruised for the experience of each other and to gain some insights in to how we best can work together for a better future for America. That we had a hellofagoodtime doing so was only a byproduct.

Enjoyed seeing all of my old FReeper FRiends and meeting my new FReeper FRiends. Look forward to more phun and more work as we continue to do what we must do to restore the Constitution.

A special thanks to the Cruise Committee for an outFReepingstanding job!

Cannardly wait for the next FReeper Cruise.

Thank you so much for all of the hard work that y'all put into making this first cruise so wonderful! It was a fun and laughter filled time, meeting new freepers and seeing freepers from other events again. We accomplished a lot. ReagansGirl educated us. Our discussions were thought provoking and interesting. The food was super, the people wonderful and I could go on and on and on, but I think you get the drift. THANK YOU and HUGS TO EVERYONE OF YOU, stand up and take a bow! Y'all are some of the best that FR has!!!

I assume we are the among the last FReepers to make it home from the cruise. (We actually arrived home late Tuesday night) We drove to FL and back from CT, with several stops along the way, including a visit with some family members living in Bradenton, FL.

A very belated THANK YOU to all of you on the Cruise Committee for making the first-ever FR cruise a resounding success! We appreciate all the hard work it must've taken to coordinate this fantastic event, and look forward to more FR events like this in the future. And thanks for the 'goodie bag' also... very nice! We're looking forward to the video to re-live the the cruise. Thanks again, everyone! :-)

PS: Many thanks to abner's hubby also... sorry... don't know if he has a screen name.
