Its great to see all those NYPD/NYFD folks down from and clapping hands to David Bowie (opening act).

I feel left out. I don't get VH-1 on my cable system (Time-Warner), and I couldn't get through on the link posted here, so I appreciate the play-by-play everyone is providing.

Self promotion, making money of other peoples misfortune. If they really were so concerned, these people wouldnt have waited so long to raise money for charity, they would have donated what they have already made by peddling their wares. I don't buy it. Next we will see Al and Bill and Hill soing $1000 /plate dinners telling how they pitched in to help dig out their fellow New Yorkers.

Can you imagine putting a video camera in your house when you have friends come over, and broadcasting that signal on TV assuming that you are so cool that everyone want to observe your life?
That is what all of these awards shows and benefit concerts are. All of these liberal elitists sit around and say "hey, lets have a TV show about us interacting with each other, everyone is just dying to watch us".
Unfortunetly, they appear to be right, but I don't watch these things for even a second.

I thought the Who were great.

It's just started on the Left Coast.
Bowie, moving, absolutely fantastic. Downhill from there - with forced jokes from, who's this guy Billy Crystal. Now Dasshole? Why? All dressed like a celebrity known for being known. Bragging that he "was in New York the day the World Center Towers collapsed." My goodness, such claims are now the badge courage!
Oh boy, another selfcongrat festival. Who needs it? I want to see a few of the artists but I don't know how long I can stand it. Can't we do anything with taste and grace anymore?

My thoughts:
The Battle of the Bulge. I'm watching it instead.

Hearing them boo the hell out of Hillary just now warmed my heart.

Hillary got booed big time, roflol!! I love it!! Her hubby got booed and heckled also. Roflol. I thought David Bowie, Jagger and Keith Richards were fantastic, and loved Jerry Seinfeld. Pretty good show so far.

Wilhem Klinton, das SchlickMeister, kein Applaus aber von den dummen Frauen des Fußballs. Wie trauen er sein Gesicht von Traitor zeigen!
Major puke time in the Big Apple.

The guy from Rockaway Beach to Osama: "Kiss my royal Irish ass!" The highlight so far!

Nice concert, but where were the flags? A nice huge flag as a backdrop for the stage would have been nice.

The only real people are the cops and firemen. the hollywood "talents" do not impress me.

It strikes me, and here on the Condidit coast I'm only into the 2nd hour of the shoe (as Ed Sullivan would'of put it,) that while all these big popstar egoes themselves do recognize that the real heroes of this entire affair ain't them, this is not true of the political swine who see this as just another occasion to inject themselves and their agendas into the proceedings. I mean look, Jon Bon Jovi knows, and being the light weight that he is, he's got plenty of excuses not to know, but your political "leaders" appearing here don't and will never know! ( Guliani's an exception, of course!) What a shame when pretty-face pop stars appear and are wiser than the country's elected leaders.

Literally caught about 6 seconds. Bill with a white hat in his hand. Could not take any more.
[sigh] He's never going away, is he?
I think I'll see if I've recorded MST this morning.

Oh my God, Richard Gere is making me sick. He shouldn't have even been allowed in the door. He doesn't want any military action to be taken, well, I'm sure he'd change his tune if it had been his family that was hurt by terrorists. Typical leftist nutcake, they don't have any common sense or decency. Creep!

The music is great. And these good folks deserve some fun and an opportunity to honor their brothers and sisters.
Watching Hillary get booed was priceless. When is she up for election?
Unfortunately that last hollywood clown soured the moment with his own little Puss-a-thon.
