Sorry about the density of the paragraphs. I reproduced them as written.

With so much of what's been happening since 9/11 pointing inexorably to Iraq, it's rather mind-boggling to note that this review appeared in January of this year.

America has Unfinished Business with Sadaam Hussein.

Saddam is bent on taking revenge. In his perverted Middle Eastern mind to take revenge on Bush the son is the sweetest thing possible. It is more than likely that he provided anthrax and gave "go ahead" for the whole operation. bin laden is his pawn. There were reports of Iraqi agents sent to Israel to snatch and butcher Jews in most horrible fashion to incite the unrest as solidifying factor for the Arabs across the globe and to tie the American hands.

Saddam should be banished from the face of the Earth and quickly.

Can you provide links on this?

He has secured the critical goal of ending UN weapons inspections

I forgot about that.
Has Bush addressed the issue?

This reviewer believes that Mylroie has correctly pinpointed Saddam Hussein as the source of terrorist attacks on Americans, including the World Trade Center bombing and the attempted assassination of former president George H. W. Bush. The Clinton administration, wittingly or unwittingly, has chosen the path of self-delusion: to not investigate the matter seriously. In this way, unpleasant policy options have not been articulated and discussed. Yet, the failure of U.S. officials to address the question of state sponsorship of terrorism will have significant future costs. It encourages future terrorist attacks by eliminating the costs of retribution from the calculations of leaders such as Saddam Hussein.

Thank you. Very informative and right on target.

Not offhand, but I believe it was on FR several months ago. Need to search the Archives. As to the murders they are well documented, one of the victims was an American citizen - Kobi Mandel - knifed to death in a cave near his settlement

"Has Bush addressed the issue?"

It's not even on the table. We haven't had inspections since about the time that Clinton "wagged the dog" the day he was supposed to be impeached. Remember that?

The House had to delay the vote a day or two to show national solidarity for the big creep.

Hussein never let us back in.

"Given how decisive America's defeat of Iraq seemed in 1991, Saddam has accomplished a significant part of his program. He has secured the critical goal of ending UN weapons inspections, and he is now free to rebuild an arsenal of unconventional armaments. he has also succeeded in thoroughly confusing America as to the nature of the terrorist threat it has faced since the World Trade Center bombing. He is free, it would appear, to carry out more terrorist attacksãpossibly even unconventional terrorism, as long as he can make it appear to be the work of a loose network of Muslim extremists."

Can't get much more prophetic than that, unless you're a Pakistani schoolboy with the gift of second sight.

Thanks for the ping and the thread.

THIS time our military should take them all out.
Sadaam Hussein
Osama bin Laden
and all their terrorists gangs.

Get into every nook andn cranny, every cave, ever mountain enclave where they are hiding.

Let the entire world know that the USA is coming and taking NO prisoners. That NO one messes with us.

No country complains when over the years we get taxed big time just so we can give HUGE handouts to countries that hate our guts, are jealous of us, resent us .And have no intention of paying us back OR using the money for the purpose it was given . They wives buy thousand of shoes, the starving and poor stay starving and poor as with Saddam's people.

And now we get attacked by the very people our government has been paying off for years and YES Osama is one of them.

God Bless our Military and I pray THIS TIME we are John Wayne and stay that way. So far we are !!!!!

>>>ending UN weapons inspections<<<

It's been 5 or so years since I heard a radio interview with a gentleman who was part of one of the "inspection teams." Too long to remember many details (like his name) but I remember the highlights. To paraphrase his summary of the entire operation: it was a joke.
He stated there were far too many areas/buildings they could not enter. He said his team knew at one point they were getting close to finding a facility where biological/chemical production was going on and...get this...the UN officials stopped them from getting any closer and ordered his team to leave Iraq.!.!.!
It was just one of those tidbits of information that never quite empties itself out of the ole' memory banks. At the time it meant very little to me, but now...

That said, since day one of this nightmare I have always felt Saddam had something to do with this. IMO He is in a better position to pull it off than Osama -- and it may well be Osama is a big part of it all, but that's besides the point.
The question I want answered is why .. WHY is the Saddam connection being kept just under the radar screen of the major media? Even Fox. I listen very closely for the rare occassion they even mention Iraq, something is rotten in Denmark.

Thanks for the bump!

I am pleased to beg your pardon, but what do you think you mean to be saying by that thing which you have just written here on the information superhighway, my friend?

Patience, fone. One murderous Islamic thug at a time.

See how we're playing the Iran card this week? Nice, huh?

We're drawing the noose around Sadaam, and will cinch it at a time of our own choosing.

There are a lot of people in DC who wish this lady would go away.

The truth always has a compelling, persistent quality all its own.

Yes, interesting read. I've thought about the fact they are preping us for several years of military action, and when Afganistan surrenders there will be other targets. By not going after Iraq first he could be making Saddam sweat; conversely, it gives Iraq time to prepare.

It is a good thing that Iran seems to want to co-operate in this affair; but I would keep an eagle eye on them. Our enemy's enemy is not necessarily our friend.

Trade Center warning baffles police. An ‘urban myth’ turns out to be true — but what does it mean?

Thanks for the thread. I agree with you Sabertooth.

President Bush's strategy in my opinion is brillant. We put all our forces ready to attack Osama and the Taliban , as a demonstration to all Nations that harbor terrorists.

But behind all this, is the build up of our forces in the Gulf .In a great position for the reaction of Saddam Hussein ,when he makes one hostile move to help the Taliban we strike Iraq.Or when we neutralize Afganistan the next move will be to neutralize Iraq, one or the other.

My assumption is that the Bush Administration believes that Saddam Hussein was the Mastermind behind 9-11.

The true reason for attacking Osama and Taliban was to get all the allied forces into the strongest position for the attack on Iraq and all countries that are held hostage by terrorists. This is my opinion for what President Bush said " This is going to be a long war."
