I don't have any dreadful premonitions, but just today it was disclosed the anthrax that was mailed to Kenya, was postmarked Atlanta.
It's awfully easy to let our imaginations run amok, but seems to me, a lack of confidence in the FBI being able to connect the dots is appropriate.

Did you read the article? The police were there waiting on the arabs! Yes I read the article and know these people are in custody now. Was just wondering why they wouldn't realize before hand that when they went back for the cameras someone might get suspicious. That's what I was trying to get across.

It's City Hall
East,
City Hall is still located downtown just South of the State Capitol Building.
City Hall East acts as additional office space and the police motor division/garage/pay to get your towed car out of city custody and many other wonderful usless city government functions.
I'm sure you would be surpised to hear that Atlanta has more dolts on the city payroll (per capita) than any other city in the country.

It's a good thing when your enemies misunderestimate you - they are going to have their ignorance alleviated in a profound and (for us) satisfying way!I certainly hope so, sooner rather than later. It's people like the ones that reported the cameras that are going to make a big difference.

They don't realize that, with all the Red Chinese money, illegal votes, media malfeasence, and bribing with mooch-and-sponge programs, that reprobate still couldn't get 50%. Lot of decency here - and it's stirred up now.

Hey all, I'm a newbie here, been lurking for a few months. At the Georgia World Congress Center, the convention center next to CNN HQ, the annual meeting of the American Public Health Association is about to begin. The hotels are filling up now with attendees, and the conference officially begins on Monday. This is a major production, thousands of people. I'm flying down from Massachusetts on Sunday to attend on and represent my company (a health and safety publisher). I've been on edge concerning this ever since Tom Ridge's comments to Congress on Monday about the need to begin thinking of the national public health infrastructure as part of the national defense. There will be a lot of bigwigs from around the country at this conference, including top level CDC officials. Former first lady Rosalyn Carter is giving a speech. I'm sure security will be tight, but its rather unsettling that in the new post-anthrax America this gathering is now a military target. My wife doesn't want me to go, but I figure "fear is the mind killer."

I should have spelled it out. This conference is happening right in the district where these cameras were nabbed. WS

The report on WSB said they claimed to be doing a traffic study.
To: techdawg2k
Yup, that's us alright. My company sells health and safety public education stuff - brochures, booklets, workbooks. Our biggest customers are state and regional health and safety departments. Well, the past few weeks I've been on the phone with all of them and of course the only thing that's on anyone's mind now is the aftermath of the attacks. So we're just now rushing new products on post-traumatic stress, terrorism-preparedness, reporting threats, living with uncertainty. A lot of states are scrambling to follow the Fed lead and are working on their own version of an Office of Homeland Security. A lot of the infectious disease teams will have representation at this conference. Tempting target? WS
To: YaYa123
Am I stupid to see a serious similarity in these two articles.Did you read the Peggy Noonan article in tomorrow's Wall Street Journal?

To: stilts
Why would the terrorists need cameras to film their dirty deed? All they have to do is call CNN.
To: HiTech RedNeck
Considering the location, maybe CNN IS the target. It seems pretty well established that these folks condemn Americans with a broad brush.
