"you are incorrect. if taliban had nukes in the US, they would have been detonated by now, so there goes your argument..."
I disagree with you. I do think they have them and I think it is just a matter of time, they will use them.

hate to wait for them to nuke US. I mean, to me the WTC was enough. The only way this war is going to be won is find out where bin Laden is and drop The Bomb at that location. Anthrax from Iraq? Drop The Bomb on Saddam.
Then some hadith loving Osama idolator from Pakistian will think twice about attacking USA knowing that his entire country will be gone the day after his suicide attack.

"What possible reason would we have to use tactical nuclear weapons?" Enhanced radiation weapons can cook anything alive in those caves. The radiation will penetrate and kill them before they know they are dead.
THAT's the reason.

Why have nukes if you are afraid to use them....I think five or 6 nukes could settle all disputes and render the middle east PEACEFUL. They cannot stir up trouble if they have been baked at 4500 degrees for 1000 years.

If business keeps shutting down as it has been over the last 10 years, people will relocate to states where the work is.

That would be Kerry the fairy...

if taliban had nukes in the US, they would have been detonated by now Not necessarily. These guys are smart and cunning, and they may well be waiting for a special moment or for us to perform a certain action before they play their ace. I can think of many huge sports, entertainment and especially political events that would fit their grisly bill. They will only get one shot at "the big one" so if they have it, they will want to get maximum effect. Yes I am wearing my tinfoil now 24x7.

Bad idea if there ever was one. These weapons should never be used, other than for retaliation against a nuclear strike from an aggressor hitting us first. (The bombing of Japan in WWII was a special case). Dropping a nuclear device would spawn a host of other problems, not just with the Middle East nations either. Don't get me wrong; I'd just love to blast those animals out into the Indian ocean, but it would not end there. It would cause infinitely more problems than it would ever solve, IMHO......

If he did, C-Span would broadcast it.
And I would be watching.

I don't know, sometimes I just think the best thing we could do is lash out with such violence and cruelty that the rest of the world would be shocked into silence for several minutes following. I think we should convince them that we have gone f***ing crazy.

Buyer is a sleeper among the Republicans, I think. He will (or should) make a name for himself in national leadership soon. In addition to being a Gulf War vet, he was one of the managers in the impeachment trial. He is in a fairly safe Republican district that has has been carved out of Inidiana. So he should be able to serve in Congress just about as long as he wants to. He's MY representative, and am proud that he serves our interests in the House.Lucky you! My congress critter is Jerry Nadler, so a few years ago I kind of "adopted" Steve Buyer. I've written to him and sent him campaign contributions, and even got a nice handwritten short note from him early this year. :-)
He also helped make a name for himself during the democraps' post-election tantrum. I expect even more great things from him in the future.
