Anthrax in the vents is a rumor mmmmm---I don't think so. The gol-danged Speaker-of-the-freaking-House said it was in the vents!!! Judging by the panic in our office right now, they're probably sorry he said it and are trying to backtrack!!

I just talked to the House Administration Committee and they said it is NOT in the ventilation systems in either House or senate buildings. This is NOT an emeregency evacuation, everyone is working until 5:00 p.m. and then going home so the buildings can be swept. No other Congressional staff or visitors are being advised to be tested.
Pataki news conference starting now.........

I propose that the peaceniks be rounded up and sent into the Capitol buildings with Swiffers and NO MASKS to decontaminate it.

"Have you been given decontamination info, and if you have, can you share it with all here? If I were you, I would go to the nearest mall, buy a new outfit, rent a hotel room, put your clothes in a plastic bag, shower, change, and call in sick.">
The only info that we have been given, is info on how to handle mail. But we're hearing now that the anthrax found in Daschle's office is not weaponized after all.
