There was a time when I was sceptical about Franklin Graham being effective, but after seeing him recently on TV, I have come to believe that he has a gift in his own right.
I think he may be able to do a good job in the future, just as his father has in the past.

I was lucky enough to attend the crusade on Thursday night (my wife, daughter and I sang in the choir) and it was truly amazing to see Rev. Graham preach. He spoke for 25 minutes in what might have been his last crusade. He is a wonderful role model and we are blessed to have seen him.

Thanks for serving, our family acted as counselors and ushers, so we had the chance to go to all 5 events! We are burned out, and we are all over half Billy's age! He is awsome for 82, going on 83!!

Graham speaks of the Second Coming? Well, maybe no one should claim to know the day and the hour, or who the King of the North is, but any traditional Christian, Protestant or Catholic, believes it will happen in God's own time. Events like those of this past month tend to focus the mind in that direction. They say that church attendance is up.

Over 200,000 attended the four day meeting in Fresno, California. You are correct in that church attendance is on the increase.

Doesn't Rev Graham know that the term "crusade" should not be used.

Franklin, after he got over his reckless youth, so to speak, had a heart for missions and I believe he started an organization called "Samaritan's Purse". He's going to do fine. As a matter of fact, I like him better than his dad. Hate to say it, but I remember Billy Graham saying he was good friends with x42 and that bothered me. He could have said he supported Clinton, or was praying for him. But to claim him as a friend didn't set well with me.
He's been a good "David", but I think "Solomon" may outdo him. Just my opinion.

Then he poops his diapers and nods back out. Wow, I didn't know that Bin Laden posted on here!

Like you, I also cringe when folks go light on x42, but Graham has remained firmly in connection with our Presidents because he simply refuses to be drawn into the political ideologies, period. If he did have disagreements with x42, which he quite possibly could have, he would NEVER go public with them, ever! IMHO!

I never thought I'd see Billy Graham. Just not my thing like Promise Keepers isn't my thing. Then when relatives wanted to go see him in San Jose I couldn't pass up the opportunity. The man is gifted. Many names were added to the Book of Life that night. I'd most definitely go see him again.

I'm neither religous nor a fan of Billy Graham, but I will say that the man truly walks the walk, instead of just talking the talk. He has always paid himself a modest salary, lived in a modest house and lived a modest lifestyle. The money he collects for charity goes to charity, with expenses being kept reasonable and appropriate. He has lived his live as if he actually believed in the words he was preaching. Billy Graham, allow this grizzled old unbeliever to salute you!

Yes, he did, and it's a wonderful organization in it's own right. The headquarters are in Boone, N.C. Among many other things, it sends out hundreds of thousands of Christmas gift packages every year to orphaned children in the most devastated and war-torn places around the world.
As a bit of trivia, Franklin is also an avid shooter and gun enthusiast, so he won't be getting any contributions from the Brady bunch.
