And he couldn't resist bitterly telling an ally that if the FBI had spent as much time chasing terrorists as it had investigating his behavior, perhaps things would have played out differently. What an @$$hole! Exhibit antisocial, immoral, and criminal behavior, then blame law enforcement for trying to do their job. If the Toon would have done the honorable thing and resigned, perhaps things would have played out differently.

who was just starting to mellow out and revel in his post-Oval Office life as a New Yorker, senatorial spouse, and money-making private citizen -- into the unfamiliar and frustrating role of action figure in search of action Didn't we read even before Sept. 11 that he was searching for something to do? In fact, I thought I read that numerous times.
Can't wait till the book by the sainted Ms. Olson hits the streets...particularly the part about the FALN terrorists.

I say loudly, proudly, and without reservation......
I HATE Bill Clinton.

Maybe if he hadn't spent all that money going after Bill Gates he would have had some more money to spend on terrorism!

The toughest challenge of his career is yet to come--coping with life in the Fed pen for his many crimes.

"Clinton misses the work, sitting and making the hard decisions, having these smart people around him," says Joe Lockhart, the former White House spokesman. Errr, ummm, who were the "smart people" Clinton had around him? And when did he make the hard decisions?

I wish I would have read this before dinner so I could have been too nauseated to eat and avoided all those calories. Oh well.........I could go bulemic and accomplish the same thing. Thanks for the help, Howlin................lol

That is the greatest admission of guilt I have ever heard - if he hadn't done things to tie up the FBI on auto-erotic fantasies, and had he not treated the Oval Office as a childish playground, yes, they might have been able to their jobs instead of investigating his stonewalling a$$!!!

Interviews with nearly a dozen Clinton confidants reveal a man struggling to find a way to be useful and worrying that his peace-and-prosperity presidency will be recast as a footnote to the Bush-family dynasty. Right after the attacks, Clinton admitted to a friend that he wished, for the first time, to be back in the White House. And he couldn't resist bitterly telling an ally that if the FBI had spent as much time chasing terrorists as it had investigating his behavior, perhaps things would have played out differently. Perhaps if he had behaved better it would not have been necessary for the FBI to check out his closets to see what else was there.
Also if he and Reno had not set their focus on that terrible national threat of the theft of intellectual property, and instead allowed them to persue the real world threats he could have prevented this..He caused it by his doppy presidency,he should feel our pain.
I know that he has been a pain to me!

i guess these dumb bastards really thought they were going to run the country forever? I honestly believe that they ALL believe that they are a "administration in waiting." Did you know that the people who worked for him have formed a "Clinton Administration Alumni Association," and have their OWN WEB SITE?

A pathetic post about a pathetic man.
To: ArcLight
Arc, you nailed it. Now he is blaming the FBI for his scandalous behavior. That stuff was 100%, all, completely, totally his fault. I can't believe he was so "miffed".
