Please remember to keep praying for the imprisoned Christians (see below) who are humanitarian aid workers who were in Afghanistan providing assistance. There are two American women, 2 Australians, 4 Germans, and as many as 16 unidentified Afghan Aid Workers accused of being Christians, who are probably under worse duress than the others. They have all been put on trial by the Taliban. All these Christians need our prayers. The Taliban previously indicated that if convicted foreigners would only face jail and expulsion, but they have since indicated these people could be executed. The fate of the Afghan Christians is likely worse if convicted. Remember and pray. |

This is an October 11 update from the Australian church from this link:
UPDATE LINK
LATEST UPDATE Thursday 5pm 11 October Our friends are still safe & sound - they have not been hurt by any of the attacks on Kabul.
The defence lawyer went back into Kabul from Pakistan yesterday and the trial should resume either today or tomorrow.
Last weekend we received hand written faxes from Peter & Diana. These faxes indicate they are in good spirits & good health.
Diana states she feels like she is in "the eye of a tornado" - she even tells us not to worry!
Please continue to pray as they have informed us that they can feel our support.

She added that Mullah Mohammed Omar, the leader of Afghanistan's Taliban rulers, must approve the decision made by the judges hearing the case. Makes Church/State Separation seem like a really good idea.

My prayers for them.
My German uncle-in-law is a minister and has spent his whole life trying to bridge the Christian-Muslim gap. His stories are akin to repeatively running your head into a brick wall.
It seems to me that most have a value system we don't appreciate and would never want to.

If it turns out the wrong way we should go in and get them. At least that way they would have a chance. Also, how in the heck are they conducting trials with all the bombing going on?

Ann Coulter was right on. When we throw out the Taliban we need to proseletyze the entire country into the Christian faith. We ought to be dropping Bibles and Christian tracts along with the food. To hell with the ACLU.

They will be released as soon as they are ready to denounce the American bombing.
To: Weirdad
The British woman reporter just released by the Taliban spent time in the same cell as these Christian aid workers and said their inner strength was awesome. This, coming from a lady so tough she was keeping a diary in her tube of toothpaste.

More prayers needed BUMP!

I know this will sound weird, and it's giving human traits to the Taliban, but you would think that they may have a bit of respect for these girls who are willing to DIE for their religion.

You'd think they would. I bet they don't, though, especially in the case of the women.
