Not that I am trying to profile or anything but did they look like camel jockeys??
Other than that, I think you could probably find a live update on any radio station in Southern Florida that has an internet site.
Nope, when was the last time you saw a battery leaking??? I remember that in the 1960s - Modern dry cells DONT leak, they may crust-over a little but thats it.
People are reported ill, so I wouldnt be closer than a mile from that place right now if I lived there.
That is about three blocks from where I live.
I grew up in North Palm Beach. I went to Cardinal Newman High School, back when it still had middle class kids. My mom still lives in Palm Beach Gardens. I can't say that I miss Florida, other than to say that I miss this little Cuban Restaurant in Riviera Beach off of Blue Heron Blvd. (an absolutely terrible part of town). They make the best Cuban sandwich.
I thought so...they had smoking batteries on them also Id wager :)
Message to the authorites, please keep them in custody until they squeal like pigs - creeps like this dont have any rights
Every few months I see CPSC or military product warnings about types of batteries that can rupture or explode, and often they include details of what happened. Like I said, it happens.
WASHINGTON, D.C.- In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Compaq Computer Corp., of Houston, Texas, is voluntarily recalling for replacement about 55,000 battery packs used with Compaq's Armada notebook computers. These battery packs can short circuit, causing them to overheat, release smoke and possibly catch fire.
And I can imagine somebody leaving their laptop in a safe deposit box while they took a trip someplace, too.
IOW, it's a plausible scenario. Satisfied?
Oh, just one. Preferably the little ones, it is like veal. The younger ones are more tender.
Anywhoo, a Cuban sandwich has pork, ham, swiss cheese, pickles, and Cuban bread. They are delicious.
Good. Why don't we just cut to the chase, then.
If you take a look at the posts on this thread, we have: a smoking safe deposit box; three "Arab-looking" men; a leap to the conclusion that it's a terrorist attack; and among other things, a suggestion that Arabs be exterminated.
Perhaps the pattern you see is that I find such things to be foolishness on the one hand, and dangerous to our own liberties on the other. We laugh now at the response to Orson Wells' War of the Worlds -- but far too often the responses we're seeing here are of exactly the same type.
Not everything that happens is an Arab plot or terrorist attack, and not every Arab is out to get us. Wild-eyed assumptions that they are, are irresponsible.
Everyone gets so hysterical these days. I just could not help injecting a little sick humor.
It looks like I will not be able to go home until late tonight -- so I guess it is the card room at the dog track instead.
I refuse to show ID in order to drive to my house. At last word that is what is being required to enter the area.
