internal clock's been losing time

That sounds like a fading fast BIOS battery on the motherboard. They are about $5.00 at any local gearhead shop.

Is your computer also re-setting the things you have chosen in your control panels?? Like maybe re-setting the display characteristics if you shut the computer down for a few minutes??

Your comments about Begala (yuck!) remind me that last time I visited friends in LA, the husband told me in a friendly voice that last time they'd been at the Jewish deli we were sitting in, as they approached the door to go in, he held it open for a group - chief of which was James Carville. I LOATHE that snakehead but I tried to restrain myself and not cause trouble. I must have frozen because he started laughing and said he didn't know who it was until it was too late. It's hard to know how you'd react in a sudden event like that but I know I wouldn't have politely held the door - haha.

What good does it do to set your settings when there is no way to lock them in

Darlin', I KNOW you are a multi-window woman... Just hit the "old style" button on the current thread. Then, when you want to post a sweet nothing to me, merely right click, and choose to open the link in a new window.

Then, just write the flirty thing to me (careful to edit out anything that might embarrass us both... An incident with Sammie a few days ago comes to mind. hehehe!!!), then post it and close that window. When you click on the original thread again, you only have to hit refresh, and the display will always be in the old style.

I you want to make an enyay try setting numlock and ALT 164 will get you this: ñ and ALT 165 will show Ñ

Hi OK...I had the same problem with the time until I went to settings and picked a time zone...settings are available in new style....lol
