This takes on added punch with the recently disclosed Ford promotion documents.

'But the very same people who are anxious to quell the rare anti-Arab hate crimes in response to 19 Arabs attacking America are the ones who are usually found ginning up hate crimes against whites for slavery.'
She is on to something here...

As some one pointed out on another thread, it is just amazing that our government has spent more money going after Bill Gates, who donates millions of dollars to charity; then it has on tracking down bin laden who has sponsored the deaths of so many people. (Until this week, that is)

Here's an obligatory Ann pic.

I am waiting until we have some more corpses from supposedly moderate Muslims to see if this continues. In short, I think that the current strategy is to try and deflect additional recruitment of Jihad warriors from the so called moderate Muslim groups. I do not think this will work for more than another month or two. It is going to be a long hard war.

Unless it is guilt for something America is doing right now and that could be stopped -- like abortion. It is unseemly to talk about the nation's current sins, especially if you're Jerry Falwell. We're supposed to wait for the 28th century's Bill Clinton to issue some impotent, meaningless apology.More truth delivered straight without apology. Please keep doing that, Ann.
While channel surfing yesterday, I confess to watching, in disbelief, a segment of Ricki Lake's show, "Surprise! You're Not My Only Lover!" Pathetic, as you can imagine. The worst moment was when two pregnant black girls faced off with the loser who bounced between them. When one of the girls, a mother with two daughters, announced it was OK because she wasn't having his baby, the audience erupted in wild applause. As it became clear that she did not mean that she had been slutty with someone else and was having that other guy's baby, but that she was going to have an abortion to keep from having this jerk's child "mess up her life," THEY KEPT ON APPLAUDING. She kept telling the other girl, "it's okay, don't worry, stay with him cause you love him, I'm not gonna keep the kid anyway." All to the applause of the crowd.
If that's really who we are now, then God have mercy. Billy Graham's wife once said that if God didn't judge America soon, He was going to need to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. I don't see recent events as His judgment. But we do desparately need to wake up!

Welcome! You'll love the truly FRee exchange of ideas.
How lovely for Ann to lose one friend in a tragedy and then be betrayed by another -- AND his mother! President Bush quoted that "we meet ourselves in adversity." Looks like we meet our friends too.
"A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity." Proverbs 17:17

I'm depressed with this column. Not Ann's usual high octane brew. She needs to turn up the volume a bit.
