Thanks for your post and thoughts on God's word. After the attack on the WTC and now our war against the islamic terrorists I wonder what it will lead to. We must be strong and fight for whats right. But whatever happens I know God will triumph in the end and all the saints will worship the Lamb in God's Holy city, Jerusalem some sweet day when the nations beat their swords into plowshares and they study war no more, praise God!

Concur.

Though I think the Gospel being preached to all people/language groups would fulfill the prophecy about that. A small difference in perspective. I would cheer your interpretation as being the more generous one and Father is certainly that.

I sure long for that day.

Maybe it's an insult to even remotely compare the two--but when watching ID4, I thought of The New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven.

It had been harder to picture very precisely before. But God will make things look easy. . . . A city floating in the air the size of the U.S. . . . no sweat.

I sure long for that day, too. I'd take the next elevator up if it were not for so many hurting and ignorant still here who have never heard. . . . and if God wants to take me up soon anyway--great.

It's plain and simple isn't it? That promise of God to Abram has never been taken back and still holds true today and forever as far as I know.
